Hi everyone! I am 36 and still using Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo 28. Next month I am going to stop using it. I want to know what is going to be my luthal phase? On the pill, my cycle is 22-23 days. I dont know what is going to happen after stopping the pill? it is important for me to plan my pregnancy. Thanks for your help...

Hi Tuba. The easiest way to figure it out is to chart your temperatures daily. Look up bbt. Your cycles might not be the same length after you stop taking the pill. You generally ovulate around 14 days before your period begins, but the time from the first day of your period to ovulation (your luteal phase) varies from woman to woman. You can also buy OPK's ovulation prediction kids, that test for your LH surge which happens 12 to 36 hours before you ovulate. I get mine at Dollar Tree.
