Microwaves

I'm not big on cooking because frankley I just don't have alot of time. I have a pretty small kitchen and my microwave is my best friend. I always try to make a concious effort to face my back to it when it is in use or to leave the kitchen, but I am not always keeping concious of what I am doing all the time when it's in use. Should I be this obsessive or am I over worrying? What are you guys told? Please help.

Whenever I use the microwave I just move completely out of the way of it, I'm used to doing it now because I did it even before I got pregnant. Radiation isn't good for you anyway. Hope this helps!

I've always been told that there is too little radiation emitted from the microwave for it to make any difference. Almost all radiation is contained with the "oven" part of the microwave, therefore almost nothing gets out. Using a microwave shouldn't pose any problems to you or your baby during pregnancy. But, if it makes you feel better, then there's nothing wrong with moving it out of the way as Britney suggested.
