ppl are saying you're 11 weeks b/c they ar going off of your LMP (last period). This is the normal way to date a pregnancy, however since you didn't get a positive in the blood test until the 23 of October you very likely aren't that far along --however it is possible as I've hear some women say that it took them months to get a positive test.- Chances are you for some reason or another just ovulated really late in your cycle, instead of the typical 2 weeks after your last period. Late ovulation occurs from time to time and isn't really anything to worry about (it is more likely to occur if you are stressed or if you were sick, but can just happen too). The best thing for you to do is to talk to your doc and have an u/s done. An u/s done in the 1st trimester is more exact in dating the baby (at least according to my OB) b/c after the 1st trimester babies grow at somewhat their own rate. However regardless of when you have and u/s it should still give you a pretty good idea of what you're baby is measuring and therefore how far you approximately are. Other than that I can't tell you much. I'd guess you ovulated late, but an u/s is really the only way you're going to be able to tell with an accurate degree how far you are. Good luck.
