Hello everyone. I had a miscarriage in my 10th month of pregnancy. I had pinkish discharge on Dec 3rd then on Dec 4th I worke up to find blood after my morning pee. I went to the emergancy room and spent 7 long hours of urine tests blood tests and ultra sounds and waiting only to find I was losing the baby. very tough to go through as you all know. I had my D&C on Monday Dec 7th. I had very light bleading and no pain but the next day I had cramps and was very tired and bleeding more like a heavy period. But all that was normal. I stoped bleeding on Dec 22nd and started to feel much better. I started my period on Jan 5th-8th...it was normal all things considered except there was a little more browinsh blood. then today Jan 22 I am bleeding again. Is it normal to have 2 periods in one month after a D&C? I was thinking that perhaps what I had on Jan 5th was not a period and perhaps some left over stuff and this is now my first period....I tried calling my doctor but he is out untill monday so I thought perhaps some of you ladies may have had similar experience and it is normal....I had my 6 week check up on monday and the doctor said all was normal since I had alrady had my period and he didn;t need to check me. He told me I was all clear to start trying again. Jamie and I very much want to start trying again now....but after going through this loss I am scared about averything. thanks for listening and for any advice, tips, and experience you may share.

sorry to have done several posts on this subject but I so badly want to try again but am very scared because I don't want to go through a loss again...so every little thing scares me at the moment and I just want to make sure I am normal before I do get pregnant again. Thanks again ladies.

Hi Mary, I know exactly how you feel about wanting to try again. I think that you sometimes (from what I've read) get abit of bleeding a few weeks after D & C, but that what you are having now is your actual period, but obviously check with your doctor first. Hoping that it is so that you can try again, all the best and keep us posted, it really helps keep me sane talking to other women in the same boat as me xxx
