Hi, I am new here and thought I would post with some questions. First off, I am very sorry for anyone here that is experiencing or has experienced a miscarriage. I would not wish this pain on anyone. I am 8w4d pregnant, but basically have been told my pregnancy is not viable and am waiting for a miscarriage to happen. My u/s yesterday showed that the baby had stopped growing at 6w1d, and at each of the 3 ultrasounds I have had, the fetal heartrate has been in the 70's, then 80's, now yesterday in the low 60's. So, the doctor has said prepare for miscarriage, it is inevitable at this point. My questions are: How long could it take for my body to miscarry? The heart has been beating so slowly for 3 weeks now, I am wondering how much longer this could go on for. I can't take much more of this waiting game. Also, has anybody had an experience with cytotec (misopropol) or a D&C? I would appreciate any insight on either of these methods. Thank you in advance for any advice or information. I feel like I am living the movie Groundhog day right now. I can't wait until I can finally have some closure on this nightmare and grieve the loss of this pregnancy. Stacey
