Earlier this week I started to get a slight feeling that I may be pregnant due to fatigue/sore br___ts, etc. I knew that if I were pregnant, I would only be about a month along or so, but when my period didn't come the day it was supposed to, I took a pregnancy test anyway, and it was negative. However, the next few days I experienced a pretty nagging sharp pain on the lower left side of my abdomen, but figured my period was just about to start and I was having one of those months. Anyway, finally this morning, my period came, I woke up to pretty bad pain on that left side. When I went to the bathroom, I found a grape-sized clump of gray tissue, which I understand is apparently placenta? I have had one miscarriage before; however, it was at ten weeks and I'm sure many of you know that a miscarriage at that stage is pretty intense, as far as the amount of bleeding and passing tissue that is experienced. If I was only about a month along, would a small clump of gray tissue, along with fairly normal menstrual bleeding be indicative of a miscarriage at that point? I'm pretty freaked out, especially because I certainly wasn't trying to get pregnant and am on nuvaring...
