h__lo i am 8 weeks pregnant and this morning my fiance and i had intercourse once we were done it was a pool of blood i immediately contacted my doctor in went in for a u/s they said the baby was fine and still had a heart beat. once i went home and used the rest room i noticed blood clots is it still a possibility to miscarry even after the u/s declared the baby to be ok?!

If you are still concerned then there is NOTHING wrong with going back to te dr for another u/s or sono to hear the HB. You are ent_tled and yes it is possible. But it is also possible to have very heavy bleeding when PG for many reasons. Dont be afraid to ask your Dr what can be causing this, it could be something as simple as a cyst on your ovary.

I had some heavy spotting and went to the doctor...the doc said the baby was fine. The very next morning I had intense cramping and spotting. I went back to the doctor and she said I was having a miscarriage. Its really hard after them telling you everything will be ok. I hope that you didnt have one and that everything was fine. If you did then I am so sorry to hear about your loss...and know how it feels I have had two
