Ilost my first baby at 8 weeks in december. After many early scans i was told i would have a d&c so I had it on 3rd of december I was devastated. I had my period for the first time on the 18th of Jan and have been trying again since my period ended. The doctors called this a missed miscarraige and when i went back for my check up they said that this should not happen to me again and that they took samples from my uterus during my procedure and that everything seemed normal. But as you can imagine i am so scared that this will happen to me again and am afraid its going to be hard for me to get pregnant it worked first try the last time so am hoping in a couple of weeks that i will get a positive result. My doctor also told me that if I do get pregnant again that iv to book in for an early scan. Has any1 got any success stories to share or has any1 been through the same thing really need to talk to people who understand hope to hear from some1 xxx

I had a D&C on the 5th of January (11 weeks into my pregnancy), after my baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. My doctor told me that this is actually not an uncommon occurance: 25% of all first pregnancies end in a missed misscarriage.
I had my period on the 4th of Feb and my doctor said we can ttc now and she told me that the chances of having another miscarriage is small, as my husband & I are healthy.
I should be ovulating next week, so hold thumbs for us. I think you can relax and try to enjoy the ttc part - chances are you will conceive a normal healthy baby.

Thanks for your reply, so sorry for your loss. Yeah my doctor told me that 2 but I live in Ireland our health care is not quite as good as yours( sorry im asuming you live in the states)I dont feel alot was explained to me but I am alot more optimistic now I got my period the 18th of jan so I am waiting until next week to do a test, did one tonight because I felt as if I was getting symptoms the last few days but it was too early and i got bfn hoping tuesday brings a BFB. Hi there,
My first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage at about 10 weeks along. It was a terrible experience that landed me in the hospital for a week. I was young and dumb and had not parental guidance or support. After wards I thought I would never be able tc since the docs said I had about of 50% chance due to scarring. Follow that up with an unfaithful boyfriend whom I contracted PID from and my chances of ever conceiving were very slim. Well almost 5 years ago to the day I found out I was pregnant. I was so excited and super nervous. I went in for an early ultrasound and sure enough the lil guy was where he was supposed to be. I carried him full term..in fact I was a week over due when I delivered my beautiful 8lb 8oz baby boy. He's now four and an amazing lil guy.
Think positive and know that if you treat yourself right and have patience things will work out! Lots of baby dust!!

Hi! I had a m/c at 10 wks. about 10 yrs. ago I got pregnant 2 yrs. later and had a healthy baby girl who is now almost 8 yrs. old. We got the urge to have a baby again and got pregnant after only 3 mon. and I m/c the week of Thanksgiving. I was devistated, because I thought it would never happen to me again. I know they say m/c is a very common thing, but in my circle of friends and family I am the only one who ever has. I was determined to try again as soon as possible and my second time ovulating since the m/c I got pregnant! I am so nervous even though the Doctor says I am very healthy thats what I was told before my last m/c. All we can do is pray and keep our fingers crossed. Good Luck to you all!!

Congratulations Amygeyman, I am so happy for you. It is really great news, it will surely give alot of us hope for the future.
I had my first AF on the 4th of February and are on day 14 today. Although the ovulation test has been negative the last 3 days I do hope that I will ovulate in the next few days and that I will be so lucky to fall pregnant this month.

I had a mmc with my 2nd pregnancy and had to have a D & C at 12 weeks pregnant although the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks.
I had my 1st AF on the 10th Feb and so now i'm counting down the days until we can try again.. bring on ovulation.. haha.
