This may sound very strange but here goes. My daughter was pregnant with twins and at 12weeks had a miscarriage (Feb. 18th). The doctor told her to take a pregnancy test a week later to make sure she was not still pregnant. She did and it was negative. She still felt pregnant, which the doctor said would probably happen. This happened February 18th. She has recently been feeling like she was pregnant and took a test, which came out positive (March 15th). She went to the doctor and they said she is 9 1/2 weeks pregnant, which would have put her getting pregnant February 2nd (before the miscarriage). Is this possible, if so please explain how!? Confused Grandma!

She could have conceived two weeks after her miscarriage (ovulation can occue that soon after)and not having a menstral period they really don't have a date to go by. I would ask that an ultrasound be done ASAP to verify that she is indeed 9 1/2 weeks along. Hope this helps.
