Miscarried And 2 Weeks Later Pregnant Again

Ok here is my long story, Found out I was pregnant but started bleeding shortly after. Not a lot but enough to go in and talk with the Dr. They did an ultra sound and blood work. The saw nothing on the ultra sound but my HCG level was at 72. 2 days later it was at 118 and 2 days later from that it was at 130. wasn't going up like it was suppose to so they left me along for a week and 1/2 and told me to prepare for a miscarriage. in the mean time I did bleed but it wasn't any different than a period. I think I bleed for a total of 10 days and I did pass a few heavy clots. They did a final ultra sound and found that my uterus looked normal and they thought I passed everything. They did not do blood work, but I took a HPT Clear Blue Digital (I think it reads at 50) and it said not pregnant. 2 weeks later - I had really bad pain and went into the ER and found out I had a Cyst on my Ovaries and they also did the HCG levels and they came back at 65, took a pregnancy test today and it came back positive. so could I be pregnant again or does it really take that long for your levels to go back down? Right now I am not bleeding , just brownish stuff when I wipe. And still in pain from the cyst. My Doctor seems to think it's just my levels going down slowly. but I really wasn't that high to begin with so why is it taking 4 weeks to go from 130 to 65 ? and how do you explain the negative test and now it's positive? Please help if anyone has a similar situation! thanks

Well, I'm not in the similar situation but I did have a miscarriage at 5 weeks pregnant. I found out I was pregnant and then a week n a half later started to bleed. Went in for an ultrasound ans they didn't see anything. I didn't naturally miscarry I had a D&C. 2 weeks later the doctor said my uterus is back to normal. I only bled for almost 2 weeks like you also. Then I had similar brown blood when I wiped thought I was pregnant again seeing that my husband and i had unprotected s_x after the bleeding stopped. I had to get a new doctor because my former doctor didn't do any blood tests he just told me that it's normal after a miscarriage to have brown blood. With my new doctor he checked my HCG levels until they went down to 0. I had the D&C on April 2nd and my HCG levels didn't go down to 0 until June 10th. So it's possible that your HCG levels are dropping slowly. Also I too have cysts on my ovaries but my doctor said they are so small it's nothing to be worried about it just makes sense why i would have irregular periods. You could've received a negative pregnancy test because your urine was diluted or the time of day you took the test. I had took a Clearblue pregnancy test and it came back positive but I was not pregnant it was just my levels were taking forever to go down. So I hope this helps.

I just had a natural miscarriage and I was about 8-11 weeks pregnant at the time. It took a very long time to pa__s the baby and finish bleeding. We also, had unprotected s_x right after the bleeding slowed down enough. So I am wondering if it is at all possible to get pregnant that quick after too? I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet...but the miscarriage would have been #5 baby for us and what I have found in the past is that the cheaper version pregnancy tests will show you are pregnant before the fancy and more expensive tests...hope that helps some?

baby.. maybe? - December 26

hey ladies, Last year my husband and I found out that I was pregnant. Test was taken on the 23rd or December. Unfortunately I miscarried on the 31st of December. Then again this November I missed my period and took a test on the 6th of November. 2 days later another miscarriage started again. Doctor said that both miscarriages happened at about 5 weeks pregnant. Now it is the 26th of December, 7 weeks after my last miscarriage and I just had a post_tive at home pregnancy test. After last miscarriage I was put on Armour for my hypoactive thyroid. I have been on Armour for a month and a half now. Last 2 pregnancies I experienced little symptoms other then missed period and tender b___st. This 3rd time I just started morning sickness. I hope this pregnancy is able to go full term. I would hate to go through another miscarriage. I am sorry about everyone's lost and I do feel your pain. I go to the doctor this coming week and will let everyone know the results. I am a__suming yes it is possible to get pregnant right after miscarriage!
