Pregnancy 4 In Less Than 1 Year

lesia - December 6

Hey all, This isn't my first time posting on this site but let me give you a recap of what's happened to me. Nov 2010 my husband and I began trying for a child and I went off the pill. Dec 25th found out I was pregnant. Very exciting time until one day at work I went to the bathroom and there was spotting. I didn't really have any pregnancy symptoms and I never felt any cramps. I went right to hospital where a US showed just a big sac of blood. I was at 10 weeks but the baby didn't grow past 5 weeks and 6 days. HCG lvls dropped proving that it was a missed miscarriage and I chose a D & C. I woke up from it crying my eyes out, so I was told, but I don't really remember. Waited several months and became pregnant in June. During the 5th week I had a small amount of spotting again and a US showed nothing, not even a sack. I didn't have any further bleeding after that and no cramps and went right into a regular period a day later. This was diagnosed as a chemical pregnancy. In september I was pregnant again, and again I lost the baby in the 5th week, exact same way. Since then I've seen some GYN specialist and I've had every work up for infertility known to man tested on me. All hormone levels were extremely high and good. HSG exam was perfect... tubes not blocked and no abnormalities to the uterus. Also, chromosome tests on my husband and I showed no irregularities or problems. Husbands sperm count was well above average. After getting the results I was put on the fertility drug Chlomid on days 5-9 and we tried again. I will be 5 weeks pregnant in two days. We found it really difficult to be truly excited about the pregnancy. But as time has gone by I am feeling more pregnancy symptoms this time, than the other times. I'm starting to feel good about the pregnancy and it's chances to succeed. Positive thinking is important here! There is nothing a Dr can do for me right now, just a waiting game. At 7 weeks (Dec 20) I'll have a US to see if there is a heartbeat. I really hope that I can take this pregnancy to get that far along. No more 5 week losses please! Anyone else on their 4th? Will post what happens as we get thru week 5, 6, and 7.
