Hi Sophieoakley Today will be day 5, and there is still no sign of my period. I know everything is messed up after a m/c, but I really thought that after my previous period that were very normal, all will be back to normal now. I guess I just have to wait... even though it may drive me crazy! When are your next AF due?

Hi PIKKWYN 5 days is quiet alot, maybe you should phone the doctor.to make sure everything is ok my period is due on this sunday, i hope its on time cause i am ready for ttc next week! i even booked my holiday for mid nextweek so we can relax and get in the mood for bding.;)

Hi Ladies just a quick update. i got my af today a day early, which makes sense because i ovulated a day earlier, so i have had two 27 day cycles. so after a few days i will be ttc. hope you are doing well, chimpette any sign of af or a bfp? Hi Sophieoakley. I'm so glad for you, hope you get a BFP by the end of this cycle! My period has finally started last night - 8 days late. Thus I have had one 30 day cycle and one 38 day one, leaving me confused and ready to give up. I'm seeing my doctor later today and I'm going to ask her to put me back on the pill. I just can't handle not knowing what is going on with my own body... Chimpette22 How are you doing? Have you had your AF yet? I hope all goes well for you ladies this month and that we will hopefully have at least one BFP to celebrate by next month! Baby dust!

Hi Ladies. I just want to report back. I've been to the doctor today and she doesn't want to put me on the pill, but she give me some hormone supplements to try and regulate my cycle. Hopefully my periods will return to normal now and I will still be able to TTC... Lotsa baby dust!

Hi Pikkewyn thats good news , i hope they help, but i hope more that u wont have to use them for long because of a bfp! :) iToday is last day of af. so these next 2 weeks will be ttc , i really hope i can get pregnant the first month ttc, i know there is not a high chance, but i have heard you are still quite fertile after a pregnancy. Chimpette hows it going for you? did af come? clouds of babydust to you ladies!!

Hello Ladies, Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. Pikkewyn sorry you got AF, but at least now after seeing the doctor it's good that they are going to give you some hormones to regulate your period. Have you tried opk's to pinpoint exactly when you are ovulating??? Sophieoakley, the chances are really good that you will fall pregnant quite quickly as your suppose to be more fertile after a miscarriage, if I were you I would use opk's from about day 9 just to check when you ovulate so that you can catch that little eggy! On a good note.. my AF hasn't come yet, so I'm keeping everything crossed that I'm pregnant and that this little beanie will stick. I have doctors on 1st April so will be able to tell you more after then xxxx

Chimpette22, I have used opk's this previous cycle, but because my cycle is so messed up I have no idea of when to start testing. I tested day 10 - 18 last month, but had a 38day cycle, meanning I only ovulated on day 24. I decided to wait for 2 cycles nou before TTC again... Lots of baby dust...

Hello to all, I had a d&c on 11th Feb, bled for three days and haven't had a period ever since. Also, I don't track my ovulation and no idea of when or if I ovulated either. So, makes it 6 weeks since the operation. I've heard women who only had their first period 10 weeks after the d&c. I guess everyone varies...but I'm certainly a bit worried about my case. Thanks in advance for any comments which can comfort me...

I'm right there with you Shirley^2. I had a D&C on February 4th, which was 8 weeks ago yesterday, and still have not had my first period. I have read it could take 7 weeks from the last time you spotted, which was February 18th for me. So hoping it comes in the next 1-2 weeks. I have read in some of these forums of some women taking 10-12 weeks before their period and everything working OK, so trying to remember that to be patient. Good luck and sorry for your loss.

hello saywhat, thanks a lot for your comment and support, well guess what my period came last night...how delighting. i don't have much cramps so im pretty grateful. it's the 7th week since the d&c for me. so hope all will go fine for you too. do not forget to keep me updated. good luck x

Hi Ladies, Well it's good and bad news from me. I got my BFP (my good news), went for an early scan on the 1st April, and they are measuring me at 6 weeks (I think I should have been 7+1), they can see a gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole... :o( I'm hoping that my dates are wrong and that in 2 weeks when I go back we'll see a dancing baby on the screen, if not I guess this will be my 2nd Missed miscarriage in 5 months..... Keep your fingers crossed for us xxx

I am new on this site. I can relate a lot to Shirleyshirley and saywhat. I had a D&C on Feb.3 and still have not had AF. I keep waking up each morning waiting for it to be there and it's not. So ironic that now I'm praying for it to come. This wed. will be 9 weeks. Had blood tests and everything seems fine. I just want to start TTC again!

hello chimpette, congrats on the pregnancy and do not forget to keep us updated about your check!!! good luck to ya. timtam, have you had unprotected s_x since the d&c? my period is considerably light this time...not like those i'd have before i got pregnant. i know how worried you are because i was just as worried as you are. dont worry your period will eventually come if you're not pregnant. thats why i wanna know if you've been having unprotected s_x after the op.
