Hello amberlynn, sorry to hear of your loss. I came on here following a miscarriage last week and hoping to see good news of pregnancies following miscarriages. We have been ttc for over a year and just before fertility clinic appt we found out we were pregnant in Dec 10, however even after seeing beautiful baby and heart beat and nearly 9 weeks we were told at 12 weeks the baby had no heartbeat and had died around 9 weeks. I went for a ERPC last week as was not miscarrying naturally and would like some info/tips/help on when to start trying again. Any news amberlynn?

Cornish I miscarried Jan 13 n had my D&E Jan 14. I had my follow up apt Feb 2 n my Dr. Said after my first period we could try again. I got my period 4 weeks after the d&e so we have been trying for 2 weeks I am sry for ur loss. Plz keep me updated on ur status..

Its good for me to hear that you only waited 4 weeks, it seems that we can try again sooner than I first thought - some things Ive read said to wait for 6 months but I dont want to wait that long. You said you had a follow up appt, I dont have one arranged, do I have to before we start trying? Keep me posted on how you are doing.x

i believe you should have a follow up appt. I lost the baby on Jan 13th and my doctor that day setup the D&E for the following day and they followup appy on feb 2. I went and he said everything looked fine and that i could start trying after my first period. When i first talked to him on jan 13th he said i couldnt try for 3-6 months, but after the follow up he said i could try after my period. I believe it really depends on the patient. I think it depends on how mentally stable you are. I know i still cry alot.. Today was really hard for me. It doesnt help that my friend just had her baby 5 days ago and i have 2 girls in my nursing cla__s that are pregnant and my good friend is pregnant and her due date is the same as mine was Aug 23... It hurts alot still to know im not pregnant any more.. Everyone says time will heal but when??? WHen will i not feel this emptyness and pain?? I am trying to stay positive!! I lost the baby Jan 13th, D&E Jan 14th, got my first period Feb 10, and on Feb 28 and march 1 i had a weird mucousy discharge that was light brown that spotted a few times both days. I dont know what the spotting was the last two days does anyone know?? It didnt seem like i ovulated this month?? How can i tell when i ovulate?? I was told i would have slight cramping and my discharge would be stringy and that didnt happen this month. My periods are soo irregular as well so it is hard to predict. I took a HPT today and i was not pregs and i am upset about it but ill keep trying.. If anyone has any advice please give it to me or give me words of encouragement.. Is it true you are more fertile after a mscarriage?? is there anything to increase my chances of becoming pregnant again

I rang my docs yest and they said I dont need an appt, I tried to say I wanted one but they asked if it was an emergency (which i suppose it isnt), so I didnt get one. I think the world around me is pregnant, everyone I see or bump into! i also have a close friend who is pregnant, it has been hard seeing her, she holds her bump now and Im very jealous, but we will be there one day soon. I am starting to feel more positive today and it's only been a week since my erpc, I havent gone back to work yet though so have spent lots of time reading and grieving. We bought our little one a tree for the garden to remember her, it helps being able to see it everyday, growing a little. Could the discharge you had be another period? I know it would be early but they say there is no normal after a mc. For me I am still taking the pregnancy vitamins, eating regular and healthy meals and now exercising 3 times a week. Unsure of the extra fertility - how could that be? Keep smiling.
