I had a 'normal' miscarriage (is there such a thing?) 04/17. According to my BBT, I ovulated around the 3rd of May. Like everybody else, I have read all I can on trying to conceive afterwards.....What I have found is the "safe" answer is wait until your body has one real cycle before trying again. My doctor said we had to wait for one real cycle before she would put me on Clomid again. When I asked her what would happen if I ovulated on my own and got pregnant before then, she told me she would do a dance of joy. So.......you see a little bit of everything from wait 1-3 months to try when you are ready. I think the most important thing is to listen to your body and listen to your heart and head. You will know when it's time to try and can accept whatever comes your way. Good luck ladies! I hope I have good news this weekend, too! God Bless!

Amay- read your post on feb 28th. ive had 2 , 15 wk miscarriages but am only 31 with 2 healthy children. factor that changed? husband so could be genetic something but regaurdless your loss was at 16 weeks and you are 43 so i was wondering if you are still pregnant. they say genetic miscarriages happen around that time and happen more with older but im told now happen to alot more ypunger too.

Amy, I m/c on 4/18, how soon after do you have to wait to see if you are pregnant again. I have been trying since I stopped bleeding with my m/c. Do you think you are? How would you know. let me know.

I too started ttc as soon as the bleeding stopped after my natural m/c. Does anyone know when you're supposed to ovulate? Does your body act like it was a cycle? I don't even know when my period will be late! I guess the waiting game again. It's been a month since the m/c. We'll see what happens. Good luck to all...

the first time i ovulated on day 24 and the second time I didnt monitor it because I feel I lost the baby because I didnt wait long enough for my lining to build back up. I am pg again. 6 weeks tomorrow but am on bedrest because of heavy heavy bleeding thursday til now. they saw the hearbeat and I was shocked that there was one after so much bright rec blood. I hope this one is a fighter. They say it may have been a twin

my doctor said we could continue trying right away.

My doc said that she read a study that showed most women that had abortions ovulated normally after the procedure but most women that had miscarriages did not ovulate until after AF returned. I thought that was very interesting. On 3/7 I went for 13 week check-up and my Dr. could not find tmy baby's HB. We heard the HB at 9 weeks. I had my D&C on 3/9 and I did not ovulate based on BBT prior to AF returning 5/7. AF was wierd this time not heavy at all but lasted 3 days longer than normal. My husband and I are going to start ttc again this month. Good luck to you all.

I ovulated on may 6th and now I am having very light spotting ( just a little pink on toilet paper) Does anyone know if this would be implantation bleeding or what is going on? I shouldnt have a period till may 20th. I also took another ovulation test and it came up positive, does being pregnant cause them to turn positive, This is the first one that I took since I ovulated. I know that I wasnt positive before cuz they came up negative, any suggestions on what is going on would be great. Oh yeah I am also still cramping. This has been going on since my first pregnancy.

The research I read said you can ovulate as soon as 2 weeks after a miscarriage. The best way to make sure is to have blood work done a few days after you suspect you ovulated. This test will confirm if you have or not. Keep in mind everybody's cycle is of different lengths. This also affects when you ovulate. The research I have done says to expect your regular period 4-6 weeks after miscarrying. If you do not have one at that time, try a pregnancy test. Good luck to all of us!!

R--your question about implantation bleeding sounds like it could be....ofcourse the best thing for you to do is go to the doctor. I supposedly ovulated on May 3rd, also. From what I have read, you should be able to get a positive pregnancy test as early as the first day of your missed period. This also depends on the length of your cycle. The longer it is, the later the date you can do a pregnancy test is. For me, that should be in the next couple of days. I wish you great luck. Best thing to do is go to the doctor!!

R it could be implantation bleeding but if you just had a m/c or d&c lately it could just be the start of your period that happens sometimes after a m/c or d&c to answer some other questions everyones body is different some ovulate right away some don't I did just because I know my body I ovulated two weeks after my m/c still not pregnant yet though I had my d/c in January still trying

I know that I ovulated on the 6th of may and I know that I shouldnt start my period untill the 20th of may because of the 14 days after ovulation. I was just wondering if anyone knows if a positive ovualtion predictor can indicate pregnancy.

R - May 16

I am pretty sure that I ovulated on the 6th of may because I know my body as well as i took a predictor test and I know that I shouldnt start my period untill the 20th of may because of the 14 days after ovulation. I was just wondering if anyone knows if a positive ovualtion predictor can indicate pregnancy.

R if you are supposed to start your period the 20 of may you can go buy a pregnancy test and take it the ovulation predictor won't help as much as a pregnancy test go buy the first response it test 5 days before your missed period I just felt like a commercial ha ha ha
