Make it fun and just remember to relax. This will happen for all of us when all our ducks are in a row!! We should all chat some evening/day?....LOL. Thanks to everybody. I gain alot from your encouragement and hope I am able to pa__s it on. Take care and lots of love!! -- Amy in hot and humid Texas!

4 days ago I was told I was going to miscarry at 12 weeks, nothing is happening on its own yet. I was wondering is it better for future fertility to get a D&C or to miscarry naturally. I have heard that people who do it naturally have a greater chance of getting an infection. Is it also true that if you become pregnant again right after a miscarriage that you have a greater chance of miscarriage again.

Amy - June 1

Tara--I guess the answer to your question more pertains to how far along you are. I had a natural mc at 6 weeks. I did not have any difficulties. The main thing doctor's watch for is signs of infection.....which may mean the body hasn't expelled all of the fetus/lining. My doctor told me what to watch for, but I didn't have a problem. In terms of getting pregnant directly after mc, some of the research I read said you can have a slightly higher chance of mc. However, when I asked my doctor what would happen if I got pregnant right away......she said she would be happy for me and do a dance of joy. I was not successful on my own, so after my first period, she started me back on Clomid. I'm now in day 4 with one day to go and lot's of baby dancing in the next 2 weeks. I wish you luck and I'm so sorry to hear about this. There are some great gals on this site. Welcome! Peace, love and baby dust to all!--Amy from Texas with tornados, hail, and t-storms (it's 3:30am)

Hi guys....for those of you who asked, I think AF stands for Auntie Flow, meaning your period, but maybe I have read this wrong or this is just a weird Australian slang term for it. I guess that just because my friend and I, who fire emails back and forth at work and who was trying for 2 years to get PG (succeeded with Clomid just like Amy will, and is having a great pregnancy!!), invented the term Mrs Flow to get through our net nannies or any peeping toms...but I have heard the term Aunt Flow to describe period before. Anyway, regardless of what it stands for, you know what it means. Hope you guys are all great, nothing new to report from me besides no spotting!!! I can't wait til I am visiting Pregnantville, population: Us. I just want some news....either AF or something happier....it will happen if I am just patient and try to remain happy....lots of baby dust to all....Katharine

Katharine--It was great to hear from you! I'm glad you are doing so much better. I've heard the term "Aunt Flo" and figured that 'af' meant starting your period. Thanks for clearing up the mystery! Good luck with you baby dancing.....if you don't start 'af' soon and aren't preggers, I'd call your doctor and get something to start your af. That what my silly body required. LOL Have a great week everybody!

Hello ladies! Amy-Chating sometime sounds great! I hope the weather is better now! My sister lives in Tulsa OK. and the weather has been pretty bad there also. I really don't like the hot weather! But being a teacher means I have to travel in the summer. My oldest daughter really dosn't like the hot weather eather but I'm sure you all don't want to hear about my summer plans! This is my last week of school and then wil be writing you all from NH. Katharine- I agree with Amy if you don't start your period or "Auntie Flow" soon I would defintly consult your Dr. Well it was great to hear from all of you Peace, love and Baby Dust to all, Kristy (also hot in NY, 75 degrees today!!!)

Kristy--Sounds like you have a fun summer planned. What a perfect time for ttc. You should be a little more relaxed. I work in sports medicine at a college, so I definitely understand about vacationing when you get the chance. Have fun in Texas. Stop by San Antonio and visit the riverwalk. I live close by! You and Katharine name a place and time to chat and we will see what we can do. (I just wasn't sure about posting my email address....I'm sure y'all understand.) Have fun and keep us posted!! Love and dust to all! (90 degrees in Texas)

I was given a drug to start my miscarriage, but the drug information is worrying me. My baby had no heartbeat at 12 weeks and I have had no cramping and very little spotting. The drug information says it can cause a rupture of the womb(uterus)when using it to cause abortion. I want to get pregnant again someday and I don"t need anything effecting my fertility. Anyone else use this drug?

Hello ladies. I am new here and had my first m/c today. It has been a HORRIBLE day as you all know. We were 5 weeks pregnant with our second child. I know for sure I was pregnant because I had my annual two days ago and they ran tests and I was FOR SURE PREGNANT. We had been trying for seven months. I plan on trying right away and using clomid the second month? Does anyone use a clomid progesterone cream mix? What progesterone cream do you use? I have CRINONE, but am wondering if there are any others? I am off to go and cry with my husband.

Sara--I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I miscarried in April after 6 weeks of pregnancy. That would of been my first child. I put off having children so I could complete my two degrees....now that I am 32, I really want one......So, I understand what you are going through/feeling. I am on Clomid (tablet form). This is my second round of Clomid (I got pregnant the first round.), but the first round since I miscarried. I did not succeed in ovulating after my mc, but my af started about 6 weeks after. I took the last day of Clomid today. Hopefully we will get good news in a couple of weeks. I know you might not want to hear all of this right now, but things will get better. Keep visiting this site. There are some really good, caring women on this site. Again, I'm sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.--Amy in Texas

Kristy--I wonder if anybody has Yahoo messengers. We could create a chat room under the Health & Wellness folder and chat there. There are already a few pregnancy chat rooms on Yahoo, I just figured we would need to make one tailor-made for our situation. You and Katharine let me know. Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful evening! We have my 4 year old step-daughter this week. Whew am I exhausted!! How do you mothers do this 24-7??? Good luck with the BD. Drink a gla__s for me! Love and dust to everybody!!
