MelissaK - Did you try the part 2 of this link? Ann and DJ are both on clomid this month and they seem to be informed.

Hi ~
Just wanted to say a quick "hello" and Happy Holidays to All for a happy and healthy to you and your families! Happy Birthday Nicole! So, I am just hanging out, in my 8th week and going back to Doc next Wed the 28th! So you think if I ask they will do another ultra sound? I don't think they were planning on doing another one until the BIG one at 20 weeks or so? How often do they do u/s? Any experience in this area?

Christi..when I had my 1st 3 I only had usounds @ 18weeks that was my first but now they do 1 @ 12weeks and again @ 18weeks thats what Iv had. I was alsway thought that this was someting they did in the U.S(correct me if Im wrong) But only have begun to do so the last couple of years to do here in Aust. Where r u from. I will have another usound as my placenta has not moved but I dont know when until I see Doc in around 2 weeks. Good luck with it its very exciting. Oh by the way Im on my way to a netball team no 4 is a girl he said "I did not see any sacks". Have a great xmas everyone.

Bee~ I am from Long Island, New York...I had an internal u/s when I first found out at 4 weeks 3 days because of the previous miscarriage I had they thoughtI was further along than I was( I knew differently, but they insisted to calculate the date from my LMP, which was not accurate because of my cycle being screwy. So I went back at 6 w 3 d for another. We got to see the heartbeat! So we go back on the 28th, I was wondering because of my anxiety levels after the last m/c if they would do another. If I asked nicely?

Christi- they might do another one since you did have a miscarriage right before this and because they were wrong on the dates (even though you knew, lol).. but, just to make sure that everything is progressing well. Normally you wouldn't, but because of the sit. you just might. On this pregnancy of mine (because I got pregnant 5 weeks after the last loss), they did an ultrasound the day I found out at 13 days past ovulation. Then they did an ultrasound at like 5 weeks 6 days, then they did one at 7 weeks 5 days, then at 11 weeks 1 day and my last one was at 19 weeks 1 day for the anatomy ultrasound. So, who knows... its really just up to your doctor and your insurance should cover it because of your history.

Christi- I commented on your post on the other one, but I'll re-insert it here: Christi- I am so sorry!!! maybe you should change doctors like you said. Also, have you thought about a D&C?? Its not bad if you know 100% sure that this isn't a viable pregnancy, because when they do a D&C they test what they take out of you and you will get a full report on it. If you m/c naturally, then you wont know. Plus, its so hard wondering when the bleeding will finally happen. Anyhow, maybe you should start the progesterone supplements as soon as you find out your pregnant next... NOT after you doctor finally does the test and then puts you on. At that point, it may be too late. Gosh, I so know how you feel. My last dr. was the same way. Such an *ss. After I lost the baby he admitted that it was the lack of progesterone. My mother calls him the abortion doctor because he wouldn't test my levels and acted like it was no big deal to lose a baby. I'm so glad that the dr. I have now is so wonderful and will do anything possible to help. Please try to stay strong! __ALSO__ to add.... even though there wasn't a heartbeat, how did it measure?? Email me and I'll send you my 7w5d ultrasound so you can compare. "jarhead4me2@aol.com"

Christi- 4 days off isn't bad at all. Also, was the 8 week old fetal pole moving at all? or did it still just look like a little shrimp?? Also, have they ran any HCG on you lately to see if they are still doubling?? My last pregnancy I lost at 12 weeks, but the fetal pole didn't grow past 7 week size. It had a heart flicker for weeks, but it never got better and then finally stopped. The main indication that something was wrong was that my HCG was just barely going up and NOT doubling.
