Will do Jae. Natalie trust me you are not alone. Go see your OB, let nature take it course and soon you will be on the road to motherhood.

Thanks, ladies for your contribution. Natalie, I am so sorry about your loss. You are not alone we all went through that. I know how you feel. I think your body has not yet healed hence the bleeding. You should really see your OB for treatment. How far along were you? Thinking about your loss everytime is normal. Its now 9 weeks since my m/c but everyday I think of the pain and the baby. You will heal with time, do not think too much about it remember it not your fault. I would like to thank Jae for the wonderful poem. I like it and would like to share it with others who went through m/c. Be positive for best results. You are in my prayers

That was a very sweet comment Dak. I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks Kay, wishing you well please keep in touch, Boo, I am very sorry for your loss, As already written it is not ones fault and there is no need for us to blame God. It happens for a reason, you never know may be you would have problems in delivering, there are alot of problems that would have been there. Its all nature's fault. I urgue you to be strong and look forward to the next pregnant. The baby you have lost is unique there wont be any other like this one but you have to accept and trust that you will conceive again. I am happy for you have AF. It is also another thing that makes a person sick. I remember I needed AF than ever before. This is normal with everyone. We do this to prove if our bodies are really going back to normal. Are you thinking of ttc as soon as possible. Good luck

Dak...Thanks for responding. This is the first time I am really writing to a web site and you are the first person to respond. I have been handling all this like a champ since 7/8 (or so I thought) but it's really hitting me now. My hormone levels are FINALLY at 0 after all this time. I had my last blood test yesterday. And I had my period for three days, very heavy but then it's gone. Still hope it was one, don't really know. Husband wants to get back in the groove but I just don't want to risk getting pregnant this month because I don't want to go through all this again so soon, it might really get to me. I feel for everyone here, writing and caring about eachother gives me some kind of stregnth. I can't believe there are so many women out there who are going through the same thing at the same time! Thanks to all of you for your stories. A question, are you all still having problems getting back into clothes that used to fit around the middle? Everything is tight, my skin is breaking out and I just feel yuk!

Thanks, if you feel not ready then you better wait for atleast another cycle. I have heard of people who conceived right away after a m/c ending in another one. This is bad because it makes you to be hurt more and more. Another problem is that the uterine lining takes time to heal so if you are pregnant again you risk having another 1 since the lining is still thin. You should discuss it with your hubby. Tell him your concerns. My DH also wanted us to try right away but I told him how I felt so we waited one cycle (July - early August). For the clothes it happens your body has not yet gone back to normal. This varies from one person to another. My belly returned to normal soon after the D&C so I started puting on old clothes right away. I am sorry once again for all those who have gone through a m/c. Be strong for your bodies to heal emotinally. LOLA- I wish you AF show up quickly, it hurts to wait for it so long. Baby dust to everyone

Hi! It's me again. I had a miscarriage in April on the 13th. Followed by a D&C. First I want to say, I know how all you ladies are feeling and it's great that we've been able to talk to each other. I just have a question--for the past two months my husband and I have been ttc. Last month the week after my fertile week I began to spot. So, I thought it was implantation. Well, I had my period. I was disappointed of course. O.K. well, this month I had my fertile week last week and now I'm spotting again. Could this be an infection going on or what. Any ideas anybody.

Kay - August 10

Crystal, I went through the same thing while ttc, and my doctor told me that my stress level was to high and my body was out of wak. Maybe you need to find a stress reliever because ttc can be very difficult. Find a way to put the fun back into your love life, do not think of it as s_x for making a baby, but for fun. I bet you if you relax and not think so much about becomming pregnant your body will losen up and welcome the SP to your egg. Let me know how it works out. And do not fret, everything will be ok. mblious@hotmail.com

I have learned so much reading these posts, and I feel like what i am going thru is nothing compared to some but I want to post a question in case someone else feels the same. I had a m/c at 6 weeks in May. Was given the green light to start ttc right away, but i have since been spotting heavily in between periods with clots and cramps. Is this ok? Have an appt w/gyn in 2 weeks, but dont want to wait until then for answers. Anyone experience the same or have answers?

Crystal - August 11

Thanks so much Kay for responding to my question. You've made me feel so much better. I will try what you have suggested. I have surely been stressed! I have so many thoughts going through my head right now. What if I can't get pregnant again? What if I lose the next baby too? But, I have to keep reminding myself that God is in control and in his time things will happen. Another question for you or anyone else. I've read some things about scarring after a D&C can cause you not to get pregnant. Have any of you had this problem? Just curious. Oh, by the way. As of today I have stopped spotting-keep your fingers crossed ladies that I won't have my period next week!

Kay - August 11

Hello Crystal, your are very welcome. A D&C cannot prevent you from getting pregnant. A D&C only opens up youe uterus artificially. However, because the uterus was stressed a litte more than it would have on its own, it may take a little longer than your normal cycle to begin. You should be fine. P.S I find catharsis to be very beneficial. I gain mine by writing, about anything. It helps to keep my mind from wondering about everything that is going on. It allows me to focus on the here and now. And although you may not notice its benefits, your bosy sure does. mblious@hotmail.com

confused, how many afs have you had since your m/c and did you have a d/c and how long did it take for af to return after it. See you can bleed some before af after you m/c this can be some more coming out...sorry dont know how else to put it. I would not wait 2 weeks for an appt. as you can get infection after a m/c with out a d/c.... Dont fret with anything Iv said here but dont wait 2 weeks either. Take care and good luck.

I'm curious to find out from "Confused" what did the gyn tell you about the spotting between periods? I'm spotting (red & brown) on and off---it's been 3 weeks since miscarriage for me and just want to spotting to go away and stay away so I can start a normal monthly cycle.

Kay - August 21

Hello Beth, when I spotted my Doc told me that it was my uterus building up again. I am not sure if it should still be happening but I stongly doubt that it is something to worry about. -kay mblious@hotmail.com

Bee, thanks for the Honesty-its very refreshing! beth & bee... i did not have a d&c b/c my levels dropped quickly down and i was so upset i never went back for the final blood test to confirm they were at 0. I am now on my third af since m/c. My doc said it could be hormone imbalance from m/c (blood test since then said (-), or there is still tissue left, though all my levels are normal/zero as of the recent blood test, so not sure how that is poss. Have a ultrasound sched for this thurs the 25th-not exactly how i imagined my first one :( ! If anyone has any suggestions, feel free. I will keep you posted, beth/bee and let you know what happens thurs...
