Kay The thing is I dont know if you mean to take a HPT to see if its BFP from my miscarriage still or if I am pg again but with my miscarriage I couldnt get a BFP if my life depended on it. So if my levels did go down I know I still wont get a BFP. Thanks!

Kay Take a HPT to see about me being pg again only 2 wks after I miscarried? Or to see if the levels are still up enough to make a BFP from my m/c? I cant for my m/c I never could get a BFP when I was 6 wks along with the one I m/c. Its just strange I still pee all of the time bloated and I have some cravings but my back pain nauesa and my b___b have stopped hurting since I m/c.

Hello ladies, it seems as though we do not chat as much anymore. Well I hope that you girls are doing alright. Miles and Mrs. S-Texas it gets easier. i found out the hard way that you just have to go on. I have started TTCing again and this time I am not tracking my temperature, not checking my ovulation (ok may be jus this on), I am just going to sit back (well maybe not sit back) but I am going to enjoy getting pregnant. Ladies do not let an MC get in the way of a BFP. Baby dust to all... -Kay

Hello Ladies it sure has been a while. Hang in there Mrs. S-Texas. Well my time has come to start TTCing again. Through my MC I have learned that sometimes the pain is best dealth with if you just pick up and try again. Now I now that sometimes that is hard to do, but what other options do we have at the moment; an MC should not hinder in anyway our wanting to become parents. Love you all...

Hey ladies. This is going to be a long post. It has been a LONG time since I have been on this site. A lot has happened to me. It is 4 months today since we terminated our PG. I have had infection all along. On Halloween, I went to my Dr.'s, and said I still had ma__sive pain. He checked my cervix, and said if I didn't have pain then, then there's nothing wrong. Well, I went home, took a nap, my husband woke me up when he got home, and I was in so much pain, I couldn't even walk. So we went to our local hospital, but it was an eight hour wait. So we went to McMaster, which is half hour away, but it is where we had the original procedure done, so I felt safer. Anyways, they put me on really really strong antibiotics and gave me strong pain pills. I had an appointment the following week at that same hospital to find out the autopsy results on the baby. They told me to set up for an ultrasound with my Dr. to find out why I haven't healed. I called my Dr. the next day, they said they'd call me back. Now it's been three days, haven't heard from them. Saturday night, I took a percocet before bed, which usually knocks me right out til the next morning. I woke up at 3:30 am with excruciating pain. I was up for two hours, and finally fell back to sleep. I was in pain all day yesterday. Last night, I was out for a smoke at my mom's restaurant, and coughed, and something came out of me down there...so I hurried to the bathroom, thinking it was a blood clot (I have been bleeding for the longest time) and it was a big clump of skin, as far as I could tell. I went and got my hubby to show him, and we rushed to McMaster again. I pa__sed out a couple times on the way, and they put me in a room right away. They did tests, and they think it is a piece of the placenta that was left over, or my uterin lining. They think that the strong anitbiotics must have helped in getting this piece out of there. Now I have no pain at all!!! I am still bleeding heavily, but obviously I am not going to heal over night after all of this c___p. I have to see my Dr. tomorrow for further tests to make sure there aren't still some pieces in there. I think this has been my problem all along. I am giving my Dr. a piece of my mind because if he had only listened to me a long time ago, sent me for tests or an ultrasound, months of agony, bleeding, and frustration could have been avoided. And maybe we could be TTC-ing earlier, but now we have to wait. Now that my due date is getting closer (Dec.10) I am so sad. The autopsy results came back that the baby had I think it was called antisephilylis or something. It is somewhat related to Spina Bifida. The baby had a very small brain at 4 1/2 months, and if we had decided to keep it, would have had seizures all the time and would have been very low functioning. It also had a cleft pallet (no roof of mouth), low set ears, and a very small chin. They don't know what caused this so they are running further tests just in case it is genetic. I hope everything will be ok because I want to be PG again soon! We haven't even been trying at all because we are scared to go through this again. We are waiting until we know I am healed, and healthy enough to handle a PG again. I am sorry this was such a long post, but wanted you all to know how I was doing because it has been so long since I have been here. Wish me luck with my test results and I'll keep you informed! Baby dust to all!!!

Hey ladies. Thanks Kay, for the encouragement. It does help. I freaked out yesterday big time. I have been going through this for four months now, and couldn't take it anymore. My Dr. was supposed to do further tests on me to see if I have Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. When I went to see him, he just talked to me and listened to me tell him what has been going on. He didn't do any tests, and when I told him that McMaster wanted tests done, he said I didn't need them done because my problem is probably solved. I lost it on my husband, who realizes it's really not him I'm losing it on. He is a very good man. ANyways, I had an ultrasound today, the hospital fit me in. So hopefully we get the results back soon. Oh, and I have to correct the name of what the baby had :It was Hydra-sephylis, not anti or whatever I called it.

I have read all of these posts and it is comforting to know that even though most of you probably don't come back to this site anymore, that I am not alone. I got pg aug 2005 with clomid, on 5 weeks u/s no baby, 7 week u/s everything was great hb 143, 11 week check up no hb, 15 week check up still no hb, same day u/s said baby died around 9 weeks, had same day D&C dec. 2nd 05. the only regilar period i have had was the one starting dec 2nd, none since, over the weekend i have had at least 5 positive tests and i am convincing myself that it is just residual hormone from 9 weeks ago. Is it possible or is it like i think......even if it was still in my system, it wouldnt be high enough to register a +?

deltabwa - February 8

I would def get to the doc's and take a blood test. i doubt that after all this time there is still hormones left from before. sounds like you are pg again. go see him :-) baby dust

Hi girls, first of all I would like to say to flowerchild that You should go to docs and ask them for some more blood work as to me it sounds as if your pregnant again.:) I had my D & C done on 13th december had the normal bleed from it, then had my af on 14 January, So the gap of D & C to first af was 33 days. Normally I have a 28 day cycle, I been using opk's and had a positive on 30th and 31st of january and still waiting for af to arrive. I was wondering if My cycyle is now going to be a 33day cycle or will it come back to the same as I have always normally had which is 28 days. its so confusing I dont know what to think. Please can anyone suggest anything to me. Thanks and babyust to all.
