I had a D&C on 4/5 and I just got my first af-8 weeks later. I had spotting 3 weeks ago,but I'm not really considering it af because now the real thing is here. It is strange how the "real" af makes you feel like your body truly is back to normal.

My period started 40 days after MC. I generally have a 31 day cycle. Good luck!

Hi. I had my miscarriage on April 25th. My af came 38 days later on June 2nd. I was getting pregnancy symptoms before that but it was because my body was messed up. Before getting pregnant and having a miscarriage I had horrible pains and I was pa__sing a lot of clots (sorry for the details). Now my period is more regular than ever before. I have no clots and no pain at all. I just got horrible migranes that lasted 24hours, mood swings like crying as well as chocolate cravings.. The doctor told me to wait 2 cycles before trying to conceive but I feel ready now.Just bought an ovulation kit yesterday. I think that every woman knows when she is ready to conceive. I wish everybody the best luck and lots of baby dust.

i lost my baby on the 26th may 2005 and its now the 12th of june is this normal as i didn't have a d&c i went home and lost it naturaly it came away complete and i've had no pain at all.

Donna - I had a m/c on 20 May and bleed until 3 June. I did not have a d&c either and the doc said it all pa__sed naturally. I was 10 wks at the time and I saw the heart beat 2 days before it happened. I haven't got my af yet but hope it comes soon so I know everything is back to normal. Let me know when you get yours. Do you think you ttc again soon? Hope this helps.

i got a m/c on the 18 of may 2005 i haven't got my period since then.at 8 they could not see his heart beat apparently it stopped growing at 7 weeks i do not know what happened and why it happened but i know i was going thru' stress at the moment and i had a cyst that was suppose to burst. i want to ttc again soon but i still feel a light pain on where the attachement was do u think i can ttc again with this light feeling or am i just over reacting because the sooner the better...i am still recovering...this site is the best thing that happened for us women. thanks to who ever came with this idea.

I miscarried on 13th May at 14 weeks pregnant...and started a period on 13th June exactly one month later, very light period. At least I can start trying again now. Good luck to all of you, I don't think I'll ever get over this loss, we had been trying for a few years and the whole family as well as ourselves were really excited. I really hope it doesn't take years to conceive again.

I miscarried at 14 weeks on May 1, It took 9 days for it to finish. Then, my period came again on May 31 but was very heavy 7 days straight, I had an ultrasound and there was some retained tissue from the miscarriage, so I had to have a D & C. Has anyone had that happen to them---the bleeding stops for 22 days, then resumes?

I misscarried on May 28th, and last week I seem to have finished off my light brown spotting after my bleeding, I had a follow up ultrasound and they said that there is some light bleeding from my uterus still, but no D&C so far , and I likely won't this late... And I am also waiting for a period. I'm guessing for me, closer to a month's wait, because I am pretty sure for some of us, the 4-6wks counts after the bleeding is done... I'm waiting impatiently As Well!! Just trying to enjoy the summer to come and my daughter, and wait!

I misscarried on May 28th, Did anyone misscarry around the same time as me, and is already pregnant or had a menstral cycle?

donna- I lost my baby on the 28th of May, and I have just stopped bleeding and spotting, and I misscarried at home, no D&C, I have no idea how long I"ll have to wait for my menstal cycle.. I'm guessing 3-4 more weeks

yankeeseamstress - my doc told me when I misscarried- that if I continue to cramp and bleed , cramp and bleed, to go in for a D&C.

I have a question. I had a D&C on May 10/05 and last week I had cramping like I would with a normal period but was only spoting. Was that a period but just not a normal one?

I miscarried about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Everything is out of my uterus but my doctor told me there is still a clot of old blood in there that will come out. I don't know if I'll be able to get my period until that comes out? Has anyone had a similar situation?

m/c around June 7th? I lost my baby at 7 weeks pregnant. It has been exactly 2 wks today. Jill- It looks like we suffered through this around the same time. I am so sorry for your loss. How far along were you? I am not sure about having to wait on the clot before af. Did you ask your doctor? I have finally quit spotting (old blood, and dark mucus (TMI)) a couple of days ago. The u/s showed that I had naturally m/c, and nothing was left. Now I am also waiting on af? Time is dragging, but I feel I need it to heal completely. There has just been too much going on down there (if you know what I mean). My husband and I are practicing safe s_x til' next af. Baby dust to all of you and good luck ttc.

Vanessa - Hi, I had a m/c on 20/05 and had spotting and cramping b/t 14 - 16 June and I wondered if this was my af. Then on 20 June I started having terrible cramps and started bleeding very heavily with clots. I'm not sure if this will happen to you but thought it might help if it does.
