Hello, I don't know much about this but I do know where you are coming from. I found out at 11 weeks that the baby stopped growing at 9 weeks. I had to have a D&C and bleed very heavily for almost 2 weeks. My body obviously went through a lot. My doctor told us that we can start trying after my first period. But I have known couples to have gotten pregnant right after a miscarriage and have a healthy baby. When your body is ready it's ready. There is no scientific evidence that says there is a higher risk of miscarriage right after you had one. My D&C was 3 and 1/2 weeks ago so I should be having my period within the next couple weeks then we will start trying again ourselves : ) My advice to you would be do what feels right. I personally don't see any need for you to wait a whole cycle since yours was so early, but I'm no doctor. I know what you've been through and I can't wait to get pregnant again too. Good luck with everything!!

Hey there ladies, I just missed carried on friday. Pa__sed clots today. My fiance and I are in the same boat. We weren't activly trying to get PG but it happened. I had Implanon implanted in '08, things were great till this past Nov. I started to have really heavy bleeding in Nov. that went on for 6 weeks. In efforts to get it to stop my Dr. gave me an estrogen injection, things still weren't stopping so I opted to have it removed. I went on the pill, and found out that I was pregnant. This was very much to our surprise, but we were very happy. Now that we have gone through with the miscarriage, I guess we now have the baby bug. We are planning our wedding for May. I am 30, he will be 34 in May. We know that we are only probably going to have 1 child. I have one from a previous relationship, and he has one from a previous marriage. Strange how things all happen and when the timing is right, it's right. I think we are going to TTC straight out of the gate. I wish you all the best and will keep you posted as to our progress. Try not to stress too much. This only makes things harder. Baby dust to all, and some good karma!

The reason doctors sometimes tell you to wait one cycle is to have a time line to date the pregnancy. From what I understand, it's perfectly safe to try right away. It just prevents some confusion if you wait at least 1 cycle.

Pregnant for real - July 2

Well i think this is the rite time for me to tell my story. I missed my period On the 11th of December, 2009. I did a pregnancy test which turned out positive. However, i had a stressful day at work on the 26th of that same month and towards evening time i noticed i was bleeding slightly. i called my Dr who advised that i should rest a lot and i did but the next day when i went to wee and wiped, i noticed thick red blood with small clots. I was so sad and devastated and went to see a gynecologist who suggested i go in immediately for a scan. i went in for a scan and was told i had a miscarriage. And by the third day i was bleeding heavily with big clots. i was really devastated and that led me to this site. After wards the Dr said we could start trying immediately. Well we tried January no luck and since i was desperate, in February my Dr. suggested i use clomiphene brand of clomid 5 to 7 days of my cycle but it did not work, but in March, i repeated the clomid, this time around i took it 3 to 7 days and in april i missed my period and now i am about 14 weeks gone now. But the Dr. advised that i rest a lot. Well i believe if you hope in God and pray sincerely and most importantly try to relax when trying for a baby.Everything will go on smoothly. And please don't you ever give up hope. Always take the advise of your Dr. and when you are not too comfortable with it, you could try another Dr. OOPS i forgot i have 3 lovely healthy kids and this is actually my first time of having a miscarriage and using clomid. Baby dust to you all out there and i believe you will carry your prince and princesses very soon. Cheers. I just hope this encourages someone.
