If you are referring to the new ept with the +/- result, don't trust them!! You can read my other post under the t_tle "what is wrong with the dollar tree brand hpts?" for all the details. I replied and then added the info. on the ept's. Answer test is more sensitive than the new ept. The answer reads positive at 25mIU's and the ept at 50mIU's. If you are pregnant the answer would have been +. I was pregnant in March and I did take an answer test that was ++ in about 1 min or less ( I forgot to mention that I took that one too when I responded to the other post.... I took so many :))

Well...blood test is positive...I just got the call..... :P WOW!

Hi Sherri, Congratulations!! That is great news :) You are living proof that hpt's are not perfect!! Did you take the answer test at the same time as you took the ept's. If so, then it looks like the answer tests are the ones that may be the ones that have some problems sometimes. I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

Thank you! I did take the answer test right after the ept, so I was thinking that maybe my urine wasn't concentrated enough. All the tests were taken pretty early, so I questioned them all. The ept's were always so faint, so I didn't feel like I could trust them. I'm still not sure how to feel! I'm both nervous and excited at the same time!

I am in that same situation right now with the ept. Like I said I called the number on the box and she told me that is a + result, no matter how faint. So now, I am wondering......maybe she is right after reading of your recent experience. I will wait a few days and take it again. I just don't get why the others are negative, when they were positive in March when I was pregnant. Hmmmm............

I took an EPT (+/-) test. I have 2 1 was very fain, the second was a little darker. My period is not due til this Monday, but I took 4 answers, and 2 first response which all showed up Negative!! I am getting so crazy over this. HELP!!!
