After three kids I thought I had been through just about everything.....Wrong! I took a home pregnancy test because I wasnt feeling well and was tired all the time. After five test on two different days they were all postive. The line was extremely light but it was there. I went to the local doctors office and they said it was negative. They did blood work and now I have to wait to see what that says.......any advice.....this would make the fourth and I have never had a line unless I was. I am so confused.....Please help me......

I have had the same thing happen! I have taken a bunch of test all coming out negative until just two weeks ago I finally got a VERY faint line, but it was there. A couple friends even looked and saw it. When I went into the docs she did a urine sample and said I was negative. What is going on? I have all the syptoms and would be going into my 10th or 11th week now. The doc wont do blood work without them getting a possitive result. I have already had two babies and know the signs and I KNOW I am again. My hubby is happy not having any more so he has been in denile that i might be again, but I have mixed feelings. I would happily accept another (as would he) but dont really want to be prego again. Unlike some women who love pregnancy....I hated it! LOL! As well as my baby is just getting out of diapers and I dont want to do all that again. I would rather just steal my friends kids once and awhile! Those I can give back when I am tired of playing new mommy! LOL!

Ok ladies im the boyfrind with a few questions... I was noticing a change im my girlfriend, she has never had a zit before and she got a few, then her appet_te changed, she was feeling sick and tired all the time. She has not missed a period but i was suspicious she could be pregnant. So we took one test. it was positive but it was so faint you had to hold it up to the light to see it. We took 5 tests after that and each was darker over a period of a week. SO I figured I was gunna be a daddy for the first time. So excited. We went to the Doc's for confirmation ......... NEGATIVE urine test?????? so, disappointed we decided to get 2 more tests. one test was positive, the other (clear blue digital was negative) just a little bumbed out because we had already told the family and they were so excited. Just looking for some input. thanx

ok well i'm 29 have been trying for a few months to get pregnant, and i am amonth late with ma period so i did a clearblue pregnancy test had a faint cross but still a cross, a week later i did another one and that was also positive but darker so thought yea so did a doctors urine test monday came back negative, confused so i did a clearblue pregnancy test today said pregnant 2-3 weeks, i've had no spotting but still got tummy cramps any one got any ideas??oh and just did another test tonight still positive different brand again asdas own brand this time so that 2 positive hpts 1 negative doc urine and 2 further hpts after docs negitive

Well, i had a few positive preg. tests a few days later were all negative. Why?

I was scheduled to start my period on feb.16th. my husband and i have been trying for a while. i have taken 5 at home pregnancy test. one on the 16th one on the 17th, two on the 18th all have been a very light positive. they are clearly positives but i went to the dr. and had a urine test done on the 18th. it came out a negative.so i took another one today and another faint positve! am i pregnant?

This same situation happened to me. I took home pregnancy tests and they all came out Positive, I then went to the doctors and it was negative, I then took different brand tests at home and they kept showing up positive. SO I finally went to the clinic today and took another test, and it came up Positive....my due date is December 10th. The first time I took the test at the doctors, they told me that their tests aren't as sensitive they they only pick up after 2 weeks of a missed period....so when I went to the other clinic it was already a few days after my missed period so it came up quick.

I'm currently experiencing the same thing! I should have had my period on 4-4-10, took a HPT on 4-5-10 (faintly positive) so I took 2 more throughout the day and both were positive. 4-6-10 afternoon I went to Kaiser and stopped by the lab for an official urine test and it came back the next day inconclusive! On 4-7-10 I had an appt. with my OBGYN (b/c I had experienced some cramping and a little bit of spotting so I made an online appt.) and they did another urine test and it was inconclusive so they did another test with the same sample and it was negative. I freaked out so I went home and took another HPT and it was positive! Today (4-9-10) I took a DOLLAR STORE pregnancy test and that one is positive, too! My doctor ordered a blood test for Monday so I have to wait all weekend to find out for sure, but she said the word "miscarriage" so many times that I'm really scared! She also said it could be just very early in the pregnancy and the water I had with my lunch could have diluted my urine samples. Fingers crossed for high HCG levels on Monday's blood test!!!

Well, my levels were 877 on Monday! SO I AM PREGNANT!!! I just took another blood test today (3 days later) and we're hoping the levels will at least double. If so, then I'll have my first official prenatal office visit in 2-3 weeks!

I am having very similar problems. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a good while now. I've taken a lot of pregnancy tests and I know what a negative looks like lol. So you can imagine my shock when I took a First Response and received a positive. I wasn't quite sure what to think. So I took another one, and sure enough, another positive. But then I went to the doctor and did a urine sample there and it came back negative. My husband, not convinced by the doctor, went out and bought a Clearblue Digital test. after I woke up I took it and there it was, "Pregnant." I feel I should mention that at home tests were done with urine that had time to build up the hormone, and the test at the doctor's did not. I have a follow up appointment on Tuesday. There they will do a blood test and ultrasound. I've heard of women "wanting to be pregnant so bad" that they receive false positives, but every time I get all excited thinking I could be and I've never gotten anything close to a positive. So I don't believe it's that. Good luck to everyone, your stories really give me hope. =]

hi im new on here, it will b nice to hear ur advice thnak you... but i took a pregnancy test on tuesday 13th of july,and i got a faint pink line so i went to the doctors and they took a urine sample and today they gave me my results which came back negative... do you think i could still be pregnant? i am still waiting for my periods to come, i feel like i am pregnant ive been having all the symptoms but i have also been having slight period cramps..shall i take another hpt in a few days time?

hi im new aswell ive taken 6 hpt all positive went 2 the hospital with bad stomach pains they did a urine sample it was negative i was gutted, ive had my bloods done friday find out results on monday im so nervous. Zara123 id take another pregnancy test if it still comes out positive u shud go the docs and get a blood test done. Let me know how u get on.

Thank you elga but actually I started my periods on Saturday. The hpt I took was not strong coz I had a really faint line and starting my periods explains my cramps I was having. But I hope everything went well for u how did ur blood tests go? Let me know.

Ok I tested positive at home with one brand of PT it came out positive, I was so excited so I made an appointment, I have just had a Merina IUD taken out on the 27 August, and my doctor was kinda saying well, you can't fall pregnant so soon, anyway did a PT test there, came back negative. I broke down in the office, and I told them that I have all the symtoms, I have 4 children, So I do know when I am (unless my brain has gone hysterical and made it all up) pregnant. Anyway, I kinda got a little angry after I calmed down, I went and got my blood test, and another different brand PT. It was positive as well.

Same thing happened to me - I had 3 positive tests last week and then a negative at the Dr. office today. Of course I felt sort of silly but I am definitely having pregnancy symptoms (sore b___sts, mild cramping, fatigue, peeing all the time) and no period since august. I am waiting on the blood results and now I am nervous. This is my first pregnancy. I am glad to know that I am not the only one this has happened to

I am happy to read all of these posts. They are making me feel a little more normal. I have taken several at home pregnancy tests and they are all positive. Three different brands. I am 7 days late with my period and I have very sore b___sts. I went to the Doctor yesterday and had a negative urine test. He asked me if I would like to take something to make me get my period!! I was horrified. I even brought in my pregnancy test that was positive and showed him!! I don't know what to do, any advice?
