Jennifer, I am so sorry to hear that. But the exact thing happened to me on my first month trying. I got a faint positive and then 3 negs after that. Now I am on month 7 of trying. Try to relax and see if af will come. Good luck and hang in there!

I've been experiencing tender b___sts, cramping, extreme tiredness, heightend sense of smell, and nausea, no period and negative hpt's. I was on the lupron depot shot twice(4/16 and 5/13 of 2005) and have had firods removed in june thereafter. Do you think this can cause neg hpt? or is it just my hormones out of whack? help please !

Sweet p- If that is a contraceptive shot, then no I don't think that can affect your test. Try not to let your mind run away with you. You can think you are feeling these symptoms, when in fact there are none.

thx toni for responding...those particular shots were to stop my period in event to shrink the fibroids before the surgery. the doctor siad that it isn't a birthcontrol method....I am not on it now and have gotten my period already....maybe it's just too soon to wonder about pregnancy even though I am experiencing these feelings

Hi Lori and Sweet, Thank you Lori for responding to my post! Sweet, I know what you're going through. I posted my issue last Thur. night "JC." The blood test was neg. from Thur. I found out Fri. morning. My OBGYN office said to wait another week and take another test. Since I last posted, I started getting Breast tenderness. My abdominal cramps and lower back pain have subsided, but still no period. I'm 18 days late today. I went to urgent care with my boyfriend b/c the last few days i've been having this clear, milky, thin discharge and I just wanted to get checked out already. They took a bunch of test and did an gyn. exam. They said I did have alot of discharge, but still thought I was healthy and didn't diagnosis me at all. They checked for gallstones w/ an ultrasound b/c my Bilirubin level was 1.7 and the Dr. said that was high and connected to my gallbladder, but he said that would not be connected with my missed period (and I'm usually really regular). They did not find gallstones (thank God). Anyway, the Dr. said that it "looked" like pregnancy, but the tests have all said negative still. My boyfriend asked if it could be psychosomatic and the Dr. said, "we do have one fact that she missed her period so I wouldn't go that far yet. I have to follow up with my primary dr. in a week and wait a few more weeks to do another test and then he recommended i get looked at w/ the obgyn again "if" I haven't gotten my period or a positive test. Go figure?

To Woods: My period was due the same day yours was 8/10. I'm in grad. school and was finishing my finals-really stressed out, but I got A's and I'm not that stressed anymore b/c i'm on a break. I think I remember a light brown spotting and I thought I was getting my period (i didn't think about it too much though b/c I was really busy w/ HW- it never came as i'm still 18 days late today and have all the symtoms-tender b___sts that started a few days ago, abdominal cramps that are bearable, cravings, consistant lower backaches, bad headaches the last few days, v____al clear discharge.( see my previous two postings). do you think we're pregnant? I'm trying to stay calm b/c i was so excited at first-even though it's bad timing in my and my BF's life.

One more thing! I'm a twin and when my mom was pregnant w/ my bro. and I she had a negative blood test and then went home-was vomiting all weekend (she has bad pregnancies-sick the whole time). anyway, after that neg. she went back on Mon. (3 days later and it was positive!!!! I'm not even sure how reliable hospital blood tests are as this happened to my mom. It might be too soon for many of us!

I had an ultrasound yesterday and found out that I'm definitely not pregnant! I posted earlier that I thought the blood tests were wrong and I couldn't understand how I missed my period and got all these "hormonal" pregnancy symptoms, It turns out that I have POLYCYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME aka PCOS. This is a syndrome where you could miss your period for months, have hormonal changes, and it could cause infertility, diabetes, excessive facial hair, thinning hair on scalp, etc. If you want a baby, bt find out you have PCOS-don't be alarmed. My mother had this as well, but I never expected I did. You can take fertility medication and get pregnant even if you have this syndrome. Good Luck to all of you! Hi everyone, I really feel that the waiting for results and answers to all these questions we have is very draining and I sympathize with you all and wish you all the best for the coming months and pray you all get the outcomes that you want. I have been wondering these same things for about nearly three months now. I have had two unusual periods, but now I also have darkening skin on my face, heartburn, acne, extreme fatigue, sore b___bs, softer cervix, change in taste, moody, soft tapping sensations in my lower adomen, needing to pee a lot, extremely full after a small meal, but only one faint positive among many negative hpts. I am questioning myself and trying to take my mind off the way I am feeling. I tell myself, that in 6 to 9 months I will know for sure. But as you all know, it can be torment, and I feel for all of you. So, good luck, I wish I could give all of you a hug, and tell you that just reading your stories has helped me to realize that I am not alone and that is an enormous help. Thank you.

I am having the issue. I am 13 days late, I took a dollar store test and it had two red lines, one lighter than the other, my sister insists that is a positive result. I took another one of the same last night and got the same result. So then I got a digital clear blue easy, and they were both inconclusive! So I took yet another one, a ept and nothing, no result again. I have a blood test on the 3rd. I'm so confused and hesitant on taking another hpt.

Some women when TTC disrupt there normal cycle. I had a late ovulation when I was TTC and by watching my cervical fluids not the calander got Pregnant. But I had already taken Preggo tests before that and were all BFN. Two weeks later definately Preggo and now Mom. So don't give up.

Hey everone I havent had a period this month and iv token 3 tests all said "Not Pregnant". And i was wondering has anyone taken a Equate test and got a "pregnant" sign.. What is a good test to get next time..
