Congrats Mandy, your baby will be here in a matter of days. This is such an awesome story. I am 11 days late now, with tons of negative tests. I'm waiting until I miss 2 full periods before I insist on an ultrasound. I desperately want to be PG. Congrats again!

Hi all:) Congrats Mandy! I am soo excited for you! I am sort of in the same boat where you were at the beginning, but sure hopeI don't have to wait as long as you did. My last period was August 6th, so am over 2 weeks late now. I have felt nauseous, VERY tired, extremely sore b___sts, dizziness and bubbley feeling. I have had 3 negative preg tests, and went today for a blood test, but won't know until Monday or so. I am worried something could be wrong. The waiting is very hard. I have had 2 completely normal pregnancies in the past, and have 2 beautiful children; Both of which showed on hpt.. It feels good to know I am not the only one going through this, and was grateful to have found this site:) thanks!

To Marek: How did your ultrasound go? Hope you are ok. I came on a period this week but not a heavy one and still feel and look pregnant. Still feeling movements and all the usual symptoms.. The wait 'til next Tuesday is awful. Hope all goes well with the birth Mandy.

Hi, Mandy thanks for your story, I read it awhile ago when I was first going through this problem. I was only 2 weeks late at the time I first read it, now I am 10 weeks late, still have not had a positive hpt, even had a blood test after i missed my 2nd period, hcg was 2. I've now missed my 3rd period by more then a week and have actually started feeling those tell tale flutters of quickening. I really don't know what to do at this point to confirm that i am indeed pregnant. I'm without insurance, can't afford an ultrasound at this point. Not sure what to do but wait at this point, I guess until its undeniable to anyone that i am pregnant. Its funny, but when I first read this thread, I thought how unusual and rare your circ_mstance must be, It seems almost unbelievable that it could be happening to me. Up intill a few day ago I was still trying to convince myself that I'm not pregnant, that the tests are right and that something else must be wrong with me, but then i felt those flutters, and they're unmistakeable, just like when I was pregnant with my sons. Weird, just so strange. Good luck Mandy hope your deliverary goes smoothly, it'll be coming up here really soon!

Yay Mandy! I hope everything goes very well, congratulations to you again, all of us are really excited for you. I just wanted to keep people up to date so far... I'm almost 8 weeks preggo, or so I think I might be. I go in to see the doc on the 3rd of October. It's too bad that I can't get a blood test done. I asked about it and my doc said that they frown on doctors for having a blood test done to see if anyone is pregnant. It is only used as a last resort. Good 'ol Canada! lol So, I'm just going in for another preggo stick test and an examination. I'll keep you up to date! Still feeling all those early signs of pregnancy too! Good luck to everyone!!! I'm rooting for you all :)

I have just read all of what has happened with you Mandy... I had never ever considered that something like that might be possible. I did a google search on if it was possible on being so late yet having tests come back negative. I am 2 months and 4 days late, after I missed the first peroid I got a test done and thought it was due from stress, but comes the next and I missed it again. My boyfriends sister said I should get a test done again, to make sure, and I followed her advice, still a negative. I am only young, and havn't had a life where I could be well educated on what to do in these situations...I'm thinking I most definately need to see a doctor...

Buglet - September 27

I would absolutely resommend you to see a doctor, to rule out any possible outcomes, like it being stressed, or perhaps expecting. I wanted to keep everyone informed too about our situation...I will be seeing the doctor next Monday on Oct. 3rd. I WILL be pushing for a blood test as I have to order my wedding gown in the next two and a half weeks. It would be a shame (for the dress) that I ended up being pregnant and not using the dress I bough or even wearing a nice wedding dress to begin with for the big day! I've known my fiance for many years now, as we are highschool sweethearts. We are finally getting married and what a gift to give him another child he can call his own!

OMGoodness!!!! I decided to test earlier than I had planned....a BFP!!! I used the +/- Clearblue hpt and almost immediately it came up positive! Now I have to find a way to tell our parents 'n' in-laws too! We're pretty young (very early twenties) and will be getting married next year (I don't know when I'm due, either a month before or just when we are going to get married- the dress! I have to order it in about 2.5 weeks...) We haven't even told them we bought a puppy yet...wow. But I always wanted to have two children whos ages weren't very far apart so they are very close! Baby Duzt to All!! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Wow, Many and Buglet, both of your stories really encouraged me. I am now 2 1/2 weeks late and have gotten 4 BFNs. I'm never late for my period and am really hoping that I'm preggo. I have been having occasional nausea, stomach cramps, change in appet_te and persistent acne. Do either of you remember your symptoms changing from day to day? Some days I feel more sick and tired than others. Thanks, and Congratulations, again:)

I promised to report back on the results of my US and sorry to say bad news.. No baby and lots of ovarian cysts. I am aware that if they are cancerous it could account for my abdominal distension (looking about 5 months pregnant now). So I'm now locked and loaded for a battery of tests. I am really gutted and so probably won't be able to keep looking at this site but want to wish everyone well and all the best. Hope your dreams come true.

Kristen - September 27

Mandy, my symptoms are almost the same as yours were, I am just over 2 weeks late now. Did your OB/GYN say why all of your hpts may have come out negative? Just curious.

janna - September 28

I am 7 weeks late also. It is very frustrating. I took a test today for the first time and it was negative. I have many symptoms...sore b___sts, frequent urination, nausea at times, tiredness, dizziness while exercising, About a week or so ago I had cramps but no period. Let me know if there's any change.

I am so happy to find out that so many women are going through the same thing I am. I'm glad I'm not alone. I haven't had a period in about 10 weeks. I've taken 6 different tests and they all came back negative. I was advised to get a blood test or an ultrasound but I'm not sure if I have the money for that. I've been getting nauseous and sometimes it'll make me vomit, my lower back has this dull pain in it all the time, sometimes I'll wake up a little bit dizzy, sometimes my lower abdomen will hurt a little bit but it's not like cramps it's just kind of a little pinching pain or something, and my b___sts have also been a little bit tender. I'm not sure what to think, but your stories sure have inspired me! I'm glad to know that so many pregnancy tests have come up negative and women have still been pregnant. I suppose I'll just have to wait and see, but if anyone has any advice to offer, that'd be awesome. Thanks!

Hello everyone, i have read many of yalls responses on everyones late periods, and it is amazing how many people are going through the same thing. Well, i also have one, i am three weeks late. I thought i was supposed to start my period last tuesday. My last period ended on the date i had my pap smear (sp?) which was August 8th. My pap came back irregular so i have some procedure that i have to do to see if i have pre cancerous cells. Kinda scary but if it is they can fix it and it wont come back. So i have an apt. on friday for that, i am also going to ask if they can tell me if im preg. I really may not be but i am three weeks late. I also took a test and it came back negitive. I do have b___st pain and lower back pain. I dont know if the back pain is because i have two herneated discs. Ha ha sounds funny hugh like no your not preg. I also feel like my stomach is pooching at the bottom. Sometimes i just think, i dont know. I know that it is not possible to have a stomach showing this early i just am convincing myself i think. So im blabbing. Please just let me know what you think about my three weeks late, good reading your stories and thank you for your time.

Kristen - September 29

Well, I was over 2 1/2 weeks late and AF finally showed her face yesterday. I was kinda disappointed, but also glad that everything is OK and now me and my hubby can try again this month. I wish the rest of you the best. Hopw you get good news soon:)

Holly - September 29

Hello all, just wanted to update my situation, i posted about a week ago about being over 2 months late and starting to feel flutters. Well, my period finally started a couple of days after that post, really strange, but it seems like a normal period, no clots or anything, and I haven't really felt the flutters since it started, so I don't really know what that was all about. I'm pretty relieved though, because I already have 2 boys, 4 and 6, and I don't think I'm ready for more at this point. Good luck to everyone else, and good luck to you Mandy, let us know when your bundle arrives.
