my cousin was having 2 periods a month when she was goingthrough a divorce. so maybe it is that you're stressed? I don't know I'm sure it will work itself out.

No answer here, but a question. My LMP was 10/26. I believe I should have had two by now. I've taken several HPTs, all negative. I went to the Planned Parenthood clinic yesterday for a supposedly more accurate urine test. Still negative. The clinic manager informed me that I could get a blood test, but she firmly believes it will only confirm the urine test. I need to know whether it would be worth it, as it will cost me money, and I don't want to be disappointed again. I've never missed a period before in my life, and now I've missed two. I'm peeing all the time, always hot, can't sleep, snapping at people. I could never see any dark circle around my nipples before, but now I can. And bumps there too. The old ones are bigger, and there are new little ones. I'm also sleeping almost twelve hours at night. Still yawning by late afternoon. I've had no cramping or spotting at all. Also, I feel a tugging whenever I ovulate. Haven't felt that since before LMP. Should I get the blood test? Should I wait a couple weeks?

beth G...... my lmp was 10/31 I did hpt's all neg. at day 44 of my cycle i did more tests at the docs office neg too! we are actively trying after a m/c in sept. i stressed and was wondering what the heck was going on YES it is worth testing always, put yourself at some ease. I had a pelvic exam scheduled, docs were wondering why no period and not p/g 20 mins before my scheduled appt. 47 days into my cycle a/f came so needless to say take care of your emotional health it's what will illeaviate some of your stress and hopefully your body will function properly. i wish you all the luck! take care and get your partner/spouse to treat you to something special and share your feelings with him it'll help you . megan

I have been reading yalls stories this past week about getting neg tests when you are indeed preg. I had my period on November 6th. I was supposed to start on December 5th. I still haven't started so I am like almost 3 weeks late. I went to the doctor the 12th to have a blood test done. I got the resultsand my beta hcg was 1. I had to have my gall bladder removed on the 19th but before they did the surgery they did another blood test and it cameback negative. They did a qualitative test so don't know what the levels were. It's been a week since surgery and still nothing. Would the surgery have made me lose the baby if I was preg? I don't know if I was but if I was would I still be? or would it be okay? I am really confused. I can't take a hpt because I am visually impaired so the only choice that I have is to go to the doc or to let my mom or some one read it for me. My husband and I are both blind. Can someone give me some information on this? I just don't know what to think because I don't know if the anasthesia would have killed the baby if it was there. Someone please help me out.

I can't believe how many women are out there experiencing pretty much the same thing that i am. I'm 26 and got married in August. I stopped taking the pill in june and got my periods every 35 days on the dot since then. My husband and i have been trying to fall pregnant since august . My last period was on Oct 30( It has been 9 weeks) .and since then i have had 2 negative hpt and i went to the doctor and he did a urine dip test there and said i was neg. I have been experiencing quite a few "pregnancy symptoms", nausea with 2 occa__sions where i did vomit, dizziness, fatigue, itchy b___sts and nipples (this one kills me since it has lasted 24hrs for the past month), weight gain in my abdominal area, and people just in general asking me if i am pregnant. My husband thinks that i am pregnant and i really want to be and i wonder if my body is just responding to my desire to be pregnant. My mother was told that she was having a phantom pregnancy by her doctor when she was 6 months pregnant with me because the tests kept coming back negative. My doctor didn't do a blood test on me, but said that if i don't get my period in 2 weeks to come back and he will start me on the pill that brings your period. I started believing that i wasn't pregnant but after reading this thread and what Mandy and all of you have gone through i have a bit of hope again. Are there any tests besides a blood test that i should be asking my doctor for? Any advice would definetly be appreciated. thanks for reading.

Wow. There are some amazing stories on here, filled with hope and encouragement. I have a question for you girls. My last period was 20th November and i have been testing regularily all BFN....up until xmas eve where i did a digital and had a positive test. However, i tested after christmas just to make sure and they have all been negative since. Any ideas on what this means? I read it could be an early miscarriage? What do you all think? I'm due to go in for a scan on Tuesday, i've had no bleeding so far? Very slight signs, felt sick on an off for around 3-4 weeks. I've already lost one in Aug and a possible second in Oct. I'm really scared incase its another loss. Help, any advice welcome.

The last time I got my period was on October 26 and I still have no sign of it. I have taken tons of urine tests and they all came up negative. I have also had a blood test taken and it came up negative as well. I am not sure that I have any symptoms of pregnancy. I have a two year old son and I found out before I missed my period that I was expecting. The OBGYN told me to wait until I have missed my period for three months before they will do anything. Has anyone had this problem and turned up pregnant? I have been trying. I had my son at 27 weeks and that is why I can't wait because I have to get my cervix sewn up at 13 weeks so I don't lose it because I have an incompetent cervix. I Can anybody help?

Well ladies, after nearly ten weeks of nothing, I got my period today. Never ever missed one before November. I guess it was just playing with me. Does anyone know if this kind of thing could mean a fertility problem?

BETH G...... No this does not necessarily mean a fertility problem. I just went through the exact thing 10 weeks all tests said neg and the day my doc appt. to run fertility tests my period came on 20 mins before the appt. so they tell me not to be concerned about fertility issues untill after three consecutive missed periods. It's all a mystery no one really knows whats going But nature has a funny way of evening itself out. dont stress it all works out in the end good luck and take care. MEGAN

I am going to the doc today to find out about my situation. I am over 31 days late on AF but have taken 8 hpts and had 1 blood test - all negative. I hope to goodness I'm not but things aren't looking good for me at the moment. My appt is at 2 o'clock and I learn the truth. Not sure what they're going to do but...I'll keep you posted.

Well I went to the doc today and theytook bloodanddid a blood test. It was negative. They did a qualitative but they said they would get the same answer with a quantative test. They are goingto check my hormones and thyroid and all that junk. I have an ultrasound in the morning to see if I have a sist on my ovaries or anything. So wish me luck. So now I know that I am not pregnant but I don't know what is wrong with me. Good luck to everyone.

Jacey how did you get on? Holly my cousin and aunty both had negative blood and urine tests through out their pregnancy's. Have you had a scan?

Pink, When i went to the doctor he gave me urine test and it came out neg. for some reason i ask for a blood test and he wont give me one and lately i have been feeling queasy around the same time every day, its always around 5 in the afternoon i dont know why i keep feeling like that the doctor wants me to go back to his office when i get my period to take some more test? is that normal
