Hello there ladies. I stumbled upon the thread after searching on google for 'missed peroids, negative tests' and I wound up here on this site reading this forum. This thread was created by Mandy who was 7 weeks late on her period, but was still testing negative. Thankfully, after weeks of stress and negative results, she found out she was having a girl, and was 13 and a half weeks pregnant. That was in 2005, and now women are still on this thread seeking some guidance as well. That's why I am so glad I was able to find this site. You see I'm 22, and my husband and I are TTC. We started in October, but that ended in a miscarriage. We still kept going, and now I think we may have finally gotten pregnant. The only problem, we've taken so many pregnancy tests and they've all ended up negative. What's more depressing is that I haven't had any pregnancy like symptoms. Well, other than the feeling of my waist expanding, the constant eating, and sluggish feeling I'm beginning to think its all in my head. My last peroid was on February 25. I haven't gotten my peroid since then. I've been looking up OBYGN's in my area to go to. Part of me is really hoping for a baby, and the other is sad because it would be a false alarm, and that may mean a serious concern of infertility for me. I really do want kids, and I'm just trying to share with the rest of the women out there. Because I know that I'm not the only one who is feeling this way right now. Which is why I love this site. Hey there Dedra, dont worry about being infertile because ive been there, at the exact same boat. after i stopped being on the pill last august i thought it would take me some time to get pregnant. i went through several months without a proper period and had no idea when / if i ovulated. it was a big torture because i didnt know what was going on with my body. it was also very frustrating. so, after i stopped being on the pill last august, i had no period in september, thne my period came in october, and no period in november, december, january...(talk about frustration). i didnt take a test until in late january when i felt nauseous and i found out that im pregnant. it proved that i didnt ovulate in november but i ovulated in december and that one time i ovulated i conceived. so just relax. it may be that your pregnant or that you arent. i guess things like pregnancy just happen pretty much out of the blue. you never know, and you can never expect it very accurately. good luck!

Hi there, i have read this thread beginning to end over 2 days. I am very worried as have been on the same track as mandy over past few weeks. My suspicions began when i began throwing up about 4 weeks ago, this went on for about a week and seems to have now subsided, at the same time i developed a terrible lower back ache which i went to a private doctor and paid 100 euro for an injection. A few days later, my period Was due, normally very regular 28 day cycle, all i got was transparent brown spotting for about 2 days. After these 2 days i took a hpt which was bfn. I have also develope a constant need for sleep, 12 hours a night plus afternoon naps! Terribly emotional and moods. Terrible loss me appet_te to the point of only eating yogurts and walnuts every day! I feel a constant churning feeling in my lower abdomen, and began spotting again this morn, again brown and clear, af not due for 2 weeks. The most concerning thing for me is the lump i have discovered in my tummy, not very low down, just behind my belly b___ton, to the left slightly, it is only visible when i lie down and moves up and down when i exhale deeply, it is detectable to the hand and visible, about the size of a doughnut! I know that in pregnancy the bump develops from the pubic area upwards so am really confused and worried, i dont know if this could be down to pregnancy or something more sinister. I live in spain at the moment which means i get free treatment but all the doctors here are very impatient, though i have an appointmet this tuesday. Does anyone have any insights? Need to put my mind 28 rest, ps: have taken 3 more hpt in last few weeks, the most recent was yesterday morning, various brands and all bfn. Please help. Just to update, went to er on monday as Couldnt take any more! Said to nurse, please tell me if you feel this lump in my tummy, she frowned then called the doc in who poked me a bit and said its very possible that you are preg, so ordered that i take a blood test, urine test and Swab, took all that in today. Results on monday. Heres the latest, either i have swallowed a large frog or im pg, my stomach is Now moving when i lie down! I swear when i get my pos result i can breathe a sigh of relief in a way, although i didnt want to be pg! At least i can finally talk to my man about it, haven said anything so far as havent wanted to scare him, so instead have been driving my friends crazy, cant wait to finally prove im not insane! Please somebody talk to me! X x

Not that there is anyone following this, just to update, to myself lol. Blood test results today negative, also urine negative. And swab test shows no problems. Thyroid fine. But was told i have high protein levels in urine, at 150. Not sure what that means. Still feel preg, and sister tells me if i was preg, this could be a symptom of pre-eclempsia Which can harm the baby. Somebody please tell me something encouraging, my supposed bump now moves around when i lie down to rest, bathe or play music, my doctor clearly thinks i am nuts, refuses to do anything furthe until i miss another period and is insisting that what i have is just gas! Please someone talk to me, can no longer talk to friends or my partner as all seem to be starting to question my sanity, including myself! Aargh! X

Hey wanda, finally someone To talk to! What is going on with you then? I went to the surgery on tuesday and requested to change doctor, just had an appointment with the new one this morning, she says that all the symptoms are due to stopping the pill, but i dont really get that as i only stopped taking it a couple of weeks ago when i suspected pregnancy, NB: i only started the pill in feb so if i am pg it is from before that! i have been given a vitamin supplement which is supposed to help my non-function brain to start working again, keep me alert and not tired and generally counteract the long lasting affect that the pill (yasmin) has apparently had on my body. And the movements apparently are gas, she put on a stethascope and tapped various areas of my abdomen and heard a hollow sound in various places which is supposed to be where the gas is trapped. So unless a baby pops out in a few months i am losing hope! Maybe i was crazy all along. wanda, You should demand that ultrasound, as the not knowing causes you a lot of stress, i have been all over the place, stress is not good for you or for a potential baby. Hello Ladies I have been reading this tread from the beginning and finally got to the end of it only a minute ago and decided that I should respond or let you know my story as well. I have not had a period from March 6th and even then it was very light for the full 5 days (pinkish). I was on the depo shot for three years and stopped it almost two years ago. I started talking the pill last year august but never really took it on time so I completely stoped taking it in December of last year. Since I stop the pill I got my period in Jan, Feb and March but nothing since. I took a hpt when I was a week late and got a bfn and then I went to the doc to take two more since that when I was about two weeks late. On the first examination from the doc after I got home I noticed a little bit of blood but very light pink which only lasted for about a day so I went back and did another test which was bfn I have taken three test in total with bfn. I went to get blood work done and will get my results back on Monday because they are checking my hormones to see if they are not balanced. The funny thing is that I am not having symptoms of pregnancy but I get cramps on and off and then I noticed that my nipples are very sore at times also the veins in my b___st are very noticeable and to top it off last night I was laying on my stomach and I know that I felt something moving in me. I have missed my period for almost three months and this is not something that I ever had to deal with. I am thinking about taking another test as it has been over six weeks since I took the last test just got tired of seeing bfn and being disappointed. I have one child that is five years old and now I am ttc my second child with my first I got a positive hpt but when I went to the doc I was already nine weeks pg at the time and the positive on my hpt was not that readalbe because the line was very faint. I am wondering if I have low levels of the hcg hormones. I will update you once I receive word from doc on Monday. Baby Dust to all that are ttc.

hello ladies. this is weird but my sister and i notice we had our peroid the same day last month and that Apirl 9th. so we both our 28 cycle girls and calendar shows next peroid day for us will be May 7th. nope she tells me her calendar says she will get it on the 14th. weird....anywho, she gets her period right on time like she says she would April 14th. but i dont...i swear we started together we should get our periods at the same time...Right?? well i still feel my peroid was supposed to be May 7th, but May 4th i spotted for a day...took 4 prego test, all but one said positive, but it was sooooo faint. took another one this week and it was still negitive. then last night a spotted, not even enough for a panty linner. ladies, im i or my sister wrong about our peroids. if we both had a peroid April 9th, then 28days later is May 7th....well my cousin told me to take prego test every 4 days. she said she did and it took her 2 1/2 months to get a positive.

hi everyone:) i've been feeling symptoms for the past 4 weeks.. my period came 1 day late and it was lighter than usual, plus it only lasted 1 1/2 days then i spotted for another day, very weird because my periods come like clockwork and last 3 days, never had spotting. so it could have been implantation i suppose.. afterwards i continued to experience nausea and headaches. i'm used to getting migraines but these headaches even feel different, so weird.. also the past couple days i've been getting lots of heartburn, achy sides and tailbone, flutters, lower back pains, am tired and irritable alot, my b___bs are sore, i am so moody and not to mention i can barely fit into my clothes anymore.. i've done 2 hpts (first response) and gotten 2 negatives. based on what i've read here, i've decided not to do anymore, what a waste of money! have an appointment to see my ob-gyn on the 22nd, he's very thorough plus in trinidad doctors love to do tests etc because they make more money, haha, so hopefully i'll get some answers. it's so frustrating because you don't want to be too hopeful, you know? amid, i know how you feel, my husband thinks i'm nuts and i can't confide in my family or friends because i don't want to get their hopes up.. hope you're well, keep in touch! baby dust to all..

Hey karey, do you guys have a 99¢ store? Well today im suppose to start my period, and I haven't started. I Want to test, but im going to be to be so busy;( I got work, a graduation to go to, and im planning a surprise party. Gosh my fiencee would love a gift of me saying im pregnant. But im not feeling any signs that I im. Boobs dont hurt, no sick out tired feeling. I Have a lot of energy, especially in the morning. Well my cousin bianca said she found out she was 5 weeks pregnant and didnt get symptoms till her 4 th month. did you take a test??

hi sjlove :) nope we only have 10 dollar stores and they've got no hpt's.. at the drug stores you can get the cheap ones as well as the clearblue and first response tho, so maybe i'll get one of those. i know it's going to come back negative anyways so might as well not b__w too much $$ on it, right? my symptoms aren't going away, sometimes i tell myself maybe i'm imagining it all then a wave of nausea hits me.. had a bad one this morning with dizziness, also my gums are extra-sensitive and i'm getting leg pains. i'm ecstatic when i feel sick tho! am keeping my fingers crossed that i'll get something positive from the doctor, or a test, anything! it's awful to be so sure that you're pregnant but have everything and everyone tell you you aren't! also af is due in a little over a week so looking out for that too.. will keep you posted. take care and baby dust....

Hello sjlove and karey I have been reading your post and thought that I should jump in to give my story. I have missed my period now for exactly three months with four negative test. I am having very few symtoms of pregnacy but I know that I have bd on my ovulation day back in March, my last period was on March 6 and I bd on March 19 and was expecting my next period on April 3rd a 28 day cycle which is like clockwork. I have been spotting on and off but not gotten and actual period. I know that people doubt that you could be pregnant and get negative results but something is definately wrong because I have my hormones checked to see if that could be the problem for my missed period but they all came back normal. I hope to see a gynocologist by next week so that I could get some additional answers. I will update if I get any news. Lots of baby dust to you both and good luck!

gosh, gods gift.. that must be so frustrating.. 3 months and no answers! good luck with your appointment next week, i hope you can have things cleared up and get the answer you want:) i haven't told anyone but my husband and 2 friends what i suspect but they all just think i want it so bad i'm imagining things. if i turn out to not be pregnant then wth is wrong with me?! i just feel so weird.. anyway, time will tell, i guess.. in the meantime i'm being extra careful and taking my folic acid. keep us updated and best of luck. xx karey.
