I am three weeks late. I went to the doctor last week to have a blood test done. It came back negative, so I thought fine I'm not pregnant, but she wants me to come back again this week for another blood test? Can one week make a difference in the results of the test? I thought blood test could tell right away?

From my understanding, one week can make a difference. Your HCG levels when you first took the test was probably too soon to tell. If you are pregnant, then your HCG levels should show by the next week. I hope it works. Good luck!!! :)

It depends on which kind of blood test they do. There are two different kids of blood test. I forgot what there names are, some one else will come along and tell you. But I do think it does make a difference.

Quant_tative test gives numbers, qualitative gives yes or no.
