how long does it take the doctor's office to get a result back?

It took only 24 hours when I got a test done yesterday.

It took me 24 hours as well. Now is it possible to have a false negative on a blood test? I had one done 5 days before my period is due. Could that have been to early?

My doctor just told me that they are very accurate (99.9%) as long as it's 7-10 days after conception...I hope that helps. They have calendars online to figure out when you would've conceived.
