My last period was shorter and lighter than usual. I ovulated late in my cycle (day 17 on a 28 day cycle) and felt an odd pressure sensation in my lower abdomen about 10 days later. Since then, Ive been bloated, tired, and been urinating more frequently. I've taken 3 urine tests (1 day period was due, one 1 wk later and the third one week after that). All of them have been negative. I am wondering how effective urine tests are if you are over 35. I am 37, and I would like to know if anyone has ever heard that this type of test may not work well for older women.

You could have an ovairian cyst. I have the same signs when I get one. Best bet is see your OBGYN ASAP! Have a blood test that will let you know for sure if you are pregnant or not.
