Fibroid Or Gestational Sac

I am 2 weeks late, had 3 negative hpt's, 1 neg. urine test from the doc, and 1 neg. blood test. Had an ultrasound, tech said it looked like she saw a gestational sac, but at the time I was only 5 days late, so she said it was probably too soon to see an embryo. Other option? Could be a fibroid. Both the tech and the dr. say a fibroid would cause a worse period, not skip it. Yet the Dr. says I'm not pregnant. Do I give up at this point? Or take another test in a couple weeks? Feel some pregnancy symptoms, but not all yet.
