HPT Negative But Preg Symptoms What S Happening

Hi, I'm 33, have not been trying to get pregnant (but would be delighted if it were to happen -- biological clock and all!). My partner and I use withdrawal method, and I'm now on day 32 of my cycle -- usually have a 28/29 day cycle. I have symptoms similar to those spoken of by others, except some odd ones. I have the herpes simplex virus (cold sores) and always get them on my lips if I'm stressed or pre-menstrual. A week ago I got one on my upper chin - half a inch below my lip. Never, ever, ever, has this happened and I've experienced some pretty stressful experiences in the past. I have cramping and sensations in my abdomen that I've never felt before. Like pre-menstrual cramping... but different. I feel them every day and it's not unpleasant, just odd -- it really feels like my uterus is growing. My abdomen feels different - fuller, and looks different... but maybe I'm imagining that. I'm reasonably thin but after turning 30 I have a little belly (I call it my chocolate belly), but the area below that now seems a little fuller so my choc. belly doesn't seem as large. The oddest thing though, and what I can't find much about is this: I was woken early morning on day 24 with intense cramping that lasted 15 minutes and has never recurred. I've had bad gas in the past, and this was not bad gas. I've also had ovulation pain... and it wasn't that either. There was no bleeding with it. Could it have been implantation!? I'm up to day 32 of my cycle today and have done 2 HPT's, both negative. I have some constipation, gas, bloating, slight nausea, pregnancy-like cm; and am very tired most of the time. My br___ts are larger and fuller, but have only just started to become tender at the sides. I'm convinced I'm pregnant... any advice?! I know HPT's can take some time to show positive, but if that pain I felt on day 24 was implantation... shouldn't there be some hcg by now... 8 days later!? Or maybe I ovulated later and that's what I felt? I had abdominal twinges and br___ts becoming fuller for about 8 days before I felt that pain... could that happen before ovulation? Any advice/similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. I'm feeling just a little foolish discussing this with my friends because they think that a negative HPT is a negative HPT... symptoms aside. But my body feels so different.

That is so weird, chocbelly. I had a very similar thing happen to me. I woke up early in the morning a couple of weeks ago with the worst cramps of my life and they were not menstrual cramps. They were like the growing pains I had as a teenager but in my abdomen. I was in so much pain I couldn't stand it. It lasted about 20 minutes and then was gone. Now, I have a very late period and other symptoms but negetive hpts. Has anyone ever had intense pain with implantation?
