Infection And False Negative

Hello...just curious if anyone has experienced this.
I am 3 weeks late for my period and have found out I have a bladder infection. Back a few weeks ago I took a test and it looked faintly positive. But it was too faint to tell so I tried again the next week and that was negative (along with one from this week too).
I'm wondering if the bladder infection is making the test come out negative. Here's my thinking...since it is a pee test having an infection in the bladder may be disrupting the pee and causing the false negative.
I've had something similar to this when I found out I was prego with my son...I had developed a bladder infection and tested over the period of a month, all had been negative. After the infection cleared up...took another test and it was positive.
I am just curious if anyone else has ever heard of this, or has had it happen to them. I'm going to wait another week and take another test...then we'll see if I'm prego again. Thanks!

I haven't heard of this happening but if you've experienced this before then I would definitely do another pregnancy test. Or even get a blood test done at your doctors. But on a better note, bladder infections and thrush infections are experienced by a lot of pregnant women throughout early pregnancy. Good Luck!! :o)
