Hi, Im 34, 1st pregnancy, 17 weeks pregnant. and sooo afraid to take an amnio? Does anyone else feel the same way? Please help.

Hi Mona, my son is four months old, I was terrified of taking that.I didnt take it. I think the biggest ? to ask yourself is that; will you keep the baby if there is something wrong with it. My doc told me one in a hundred women who get it end in miscarriage. Those chances were too close for me.
