I am brand new at this all. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I am late with my period about 4-5 days. I tested two days ago and it was negative. Was it too soon? Do I have to wait until tomorrow morning to do the urine sample or would one show positive today if I am pregnant?

Well if i were you i would wait a good 2-3 weeks before testing it never comes out within the first few days. See I missed my preiod and never miss my period but got it 2 weeks later.

You never really know with home preg. test. With my first son I had missed my period 3 months in a row and had all neg hpt.. When I went to the doc they did a blood test and the first one was neg. The second one was pos. When she finally checked me I was already 3 months. So who knows. I would wait a few more days and try again. Hope this helps. We are trying to get pregnant and I an having a hard time not testing. I think it is too soon.
