WHAT ARE THOSE 2 LINES FOR ANYWAY

i did a clear blue digital test, it came up not pregnant, what i want to know is what are the 2 lines for on the cartridge. as far as i am concerned 2 lines mean positive not negative. i am 8 days late and very confused, has anybody else had this happen to them please help

did another hpt this morning got a very faint positive going to the doctors tomorrow to hopefully have it confirmed i will let you know
