Almost 2 Weeks Late 2 Negative Tests

I really need some advice! I am on day 45 of my cycle (normal 33) and still no sign of starting my period. I was real tired the past week and having to go to the bathroom a little more than usual. No morning sickness or nausea. I just took a 2nd home test and both have been negative. They were not a name brand (EPT, First Responce, etc) just a brand from my local pharmacy. Should I get a name brand and see if that is positive? Should I go visit my DR? Should I just wait?

Hi,
I am eight days late and I have take name brand tests (EPT and 1st Response) all have come back negative. I would call your doctor and see what they say, maybe get a blood test.

Hi, I'm on cycle day number 41 and I just got a many negatives the last 2 test I used were1st Response early detection. It is suppose to detect really low amounts of hcg (25 mIU) Here is a website that shows the levels http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hpt.html <br>
I read some where on this website that they called 1st Response about the 25 mIU and they couldn't get a straight answer. It will just drive you crazy. I guess for some reason we aren't to know yet. Another good test of patients LOL

Thanks for your advice! This is/will be my first pregnancy. And the first "Grandbaby" for both our families. My husband and I are so excited but it is SOOOO frustrating to get "negative" answers. Patience?? (sigh) I don't know how much more patience I can be. LOL
