Breastfeeding But Thought I Was Pregnant

I am still br___tfeeding my 16 month old son. I just started my period on Jan 22nd of this year and was so excited. I then plotted my fertile days and waited until ovulation and had s_x plenty of times during that time. Last week I had 2 positive, but very faint tests (1st response) and since then have had 5 negative. I should have started my period on the 19th and it is now the 22nd and no period. Has this ever happened to anyone? Could my hormones from br___tfeeding be affecting the hpt? Help, I don't want to go to the doc yet, but I might have to. I just have to know.
