i have ben sottting since last tuesday now which is now 9 days inc today.its very light though! and has never been red but always brown and sometimes a light brown or pinky coulour but doesnt look like blood.im going to the doctors tues so will let u no what he says bout spotting.im due on now but just havin spotting still,strange!! but ive also had a lot of pregnancy symptoms to have u?

Well, GIRLS my worst fear came true I did have a miscarriage on Tuesday night I was 5 weeks pregnant and that brown blood was not my period it was my body having a reaction to the miscarriage I underwent a DNC and my husband and I are so sad about it. GOOD LUCK with every one in their pregnancy

Hey. I'm freaking out here. My period was 17 days late... and I thought it had started today. But now I am starting to think it is just spotting... I took a urine test a couple days ago, it was negative. There is almost NO chance I could be pregnant! I didn't have intercourse, the tip of his p___s touched for probably two whole seconds. He hadn't ejaculated. I just don't know what to think. I've been under a lot of stress lately, and this is not something I need. I'm only 16 years old, and I'm a freaking virgin. Do you think I should worry myself?

Hey Lost. When i was pregnant with my 2 year old girl i got brown spotting alot during the beginning of the pregnancy. But im not sure if its common or not. Maybe just in some woman.?? Has any other woman gone through it?

Im so confused. i have always suffered from v heavy irregular periods since i was 11. for the past month or so i have been feeling dizzy,had a constan headache, tiredness and spotting of blood for the past 3 weeks.some days the spotting is brown and other days its red. i have never had this before eve tho myperiods have always been up and down. we are trying for a child. i have done 3 preg tests and all are neg.ishould have had a normall period by now which are always heavy. any ideas?do the headaches,dizzyness etc related to preg along wih the spotting? you views would be great. thanks

The first day of my last period was Jauary 2nd. It lasted the normal 4 days. Yesterday I started brown spotting and today i took a pregnancy test and it turned out positive. The bleeding was the only reason that I took the test b/c I have no other symptons of feeling pregnant. I think that all woman's bodies react differently when they are pregnant, however, brown bleeding I believe is pretty typical when you are pregnant.

i'm too in the same boat . i'm 26 day late for my period and i've been spotting brown for about 10 days now .i tested when i was 12 days late hpt, ,and it was neg.and also had a urine test at the dr. when it was 14 days late and also neg.. now i'm 26 days late and haven't tested since then yesterday i spotted a lot, brown , that it soaked the tissue ..could i be preg?

With my second pregnancy I lightly spotted from the day I tested positive all the way till 8 weeks which is when I miscarried. Everything i have read says that brown spotting is usually not a good thing. When I actually miscarried it lasted for 2 whole weeks, bleeding and spotting. I was finally sent to a specialist where he did a D & C to clean me out where he told me if you spot and bleed for too long it can make you sick and even sterile if you get an infection! Don't let it go on to long ladies!

ms. divine are you sure that it's a bad thing to spot . i mean always bad? not a sign og pregnancy?

I had spotting instead of a period this month. I have other pregnancy symptoms such as headaches, bachaches, constipation, and nasea. I took 2 hpt both negative. When should I take another one and should I go to the doctor.

Moony: Once i started spotting I started to read up about it and everything I read said to go to the doctor and have it checked out. Yes it is true that some woman spot throughout their pregnancys and carry healthy full term babies but it that isn't the majority. I don't want to scare you but you should have it checked out forsure!

thanks ms.divine for the answer .. carrie.. i'm almost 4 weeks late ..and going crazy coz i did a test and showed neg. when i was two weeks late.. urine test.. but happy to hear that u and others are experiensing the same thing .. i'm not a lone ..gonna test again in 3 days .. hope we are pregnant..

Moony do you have any symptoms of pregnancy especially nausea? The reason I ask is because I will be 12 weeks tomorrow with my 3rd pregnancy (the 2nd was a miscarriage as I mentioned) with my son I had nausea and no spotting and he was a healthy 7.12 lb baby. With the second pregancy I had almost no symptoms at all which was suspicious from the beginning. Now with the 3rd (gosh it sounds like a lot when I actually say it out loud) anyway with this one I haven't had any spotting and lots of nausea. When my doctor found out I was nauseous she couldn't contain her excitement. Its a good sign if your sick or so they say! It sure doesn't feel good though! Good luck please keep us posted. God bless.
