thanks for your reply charlie! can you explain to me what an eptopic pregnancy is? is it very bad? i have an apt with my doctor tomorrow, i hope everything turns out ok and if i am pregnant i just pray that its normal!

Ummm...OK, I know ya'll are probably like, older but Um, I really need some help, since I can't talk to my mom about this stuff....I'm 16 years old and I dunno whats goin on, but hopefully someone her could help me or lead me to the right direction. I got off the pill like, 2 months ago and my periods have been regular, a couple of weeks ago, i was out with my boyfriend and well you know how that goes, well this weeks period has been wierd, when i first bled it was a dark red/light redish color, now its a dark brown...PLEASE HELP ME, tell me whats going on, this has never happend to me before!!

I have one baby boy and I just recently had a miscarriage on Feb 14 and a miscarriage Feb 14 of last year too. I am three days late for my period, but the past two I have been lightly spotting brown. then it will stop and start back up. It is only Brown though. Does this mabe mean I am pregnant agian? I have been trying to get pregnant, but at the same time hoping it wont be a miscarriage. Athena, The first time I had a baby I never bleed at all. Some women do though. Why dont you have somebody take you to get a pregnancy test. Normally it would show up. Sometimes when your pregnant your period does act like that from what I have read on web sites. have you been having any of the signs like ( tender b___st, more of a appet_te, feeling tired, feeling sick) if so you really need to go get a test. I advise anyone who is pregnant and that is bleeding and cramping to go to the doctor right away. Horrible cramping is not a good sign. Cramping does not mean that your pregnant, it means that theirs somthing wrong most of the time. I have had two miscarriage's and I know the symptoms.

soconfused an ectopic is where its grows outside the womb my was in my right tube if i lay in bed on my side i would get stabbing pains there or if i wore my tight jeans too i had a real light period then started with stained discharged after 2 weeks of this i started with the pains also it never showed on a hpt i had 4 done even though the blood test showed results over 500!!!

Hello, this is my first time on her, but reading through some of the infos on here, helps to know that some people r going through similar things. My hubby and I have started trying the past 2 months - but he works away a lot so I have seen him a total of 6 days in the pst 8 wks (we have tried these days to be when im ovulating) My last period was very light - much more than usual. I think i was due yesterday but have just had some brown marks when i wipe - no blood on tissue. i did a hpt on 3 days ago which was neg. I am going to do another one in the mornign, bu my hubby is back tonight for a while. I want to know if anybody else who has had these brown 'spotting marks' has them when they are due n or if they have them earlier or later than their period is due? Can anyone answer my question> Thanks guys

i just got off the pill 6-7 weeks ago and i havent gotton anything yet. i took 3 tests and they all came up positive but as of today when i wiped i saw slight more-brown-then-red blood. im i pregnant or no because i just got off the pill?

Moody, have you been checked out for PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Irregular periods and excess hair growth are a few symptoms.

b/t come back neg and no tumour went to see a specialist for an u/s all looks good no cysts more b/t if AF isn't here by next week when i go back for the b/t results he will give me something to bring on AF i have to also get my fallopian tubes checked

Ok I don't have an answer but I do have a question....I had a baby last May (yay!!!) Anyways my periods started in August and was normal and continued to be...but last time I had a period was Jan31st. I have done 2 HPT and both are negative here's the kicker...I have been having spotting brown -red when wiping enough to prompt a pantyliner but next time there is nothing just normal. I did have spotting when first pregnant with marissa and an implant bleed. I don't feel pregnant and GP says will check me in two weeks....any thoughts???

hey charlie thanks for that info. i went to the doctor wed. and took a urine test and it came back negative, i do have a urinary tract infection though, but 2 days after i went to the doctor i started throwing up and i NEVER throw up no matter how sick i am, so im wondering if i still could be pregnant and it just didnt show up at the doctors office..ugh gosh i just want to know for sure because i dont want to be pregnant and do anything stupid that would hurt the baby, but if im not pregnant i dont want to be worrying!

soconfused you are most likey being sick through the infection u have did the doc give u anti biotics?

yup charlie they gave me some big old horse pills. your right thats probably all it was because ive been feeling better since ive been taking the antibiotics. thanks for all your help though because i was "soconfused"

This answer is for mlw. I had brown spotting when my period was supposed to be on. I took a pt but they all came back neg. My doctor told me that it may be too early to detect, so I need to wait another week to test.

I am 5 days late with brown spotting (extremely light). My behavior and emotions seem to be erratic - very! Driving my husband NUTS! Have tested now three times with negative results. Boobs seem to be larger 8-).... My doc says brown spotting is VERY normal or regular spotting as well. Also very common is testing NEG until your supposed period is to be completed / MISSED. The spotting has now stopped and now I have nothing. The doctor told me to test this week on Thursday so I am still hopeful. Does anyone know anything else to do?
