I was supposed to get my period at the end of January, and when I got it it was very light and sort of brown colored. It only lasted maybe 3 days and I always get a bad period. A week later I started spotting brown and have cramps, this has been going on for about 2 weeks now. I've taken urine tests but they all come back negative. Does anyone know what this could mean?

hey everyone i'm irregular so its very hard for me to know if i'm pregnant. i've been with my bf for 4yrs and we've tried but i'm never pregnant. and now like LOST i'm getting brown smudges on my pad. i bleed and then i put on a pad and no more bleeding only when i wipe. when i woke up this morning i have alot of brown smudges on my pad. WHAT COULD IT BE? CAN I BE PREGNANT? SOMEONE HELP????

I had a very light period starting on the 23/1/09 lasting for 3 days, next period was a day late starting on 21/02/09 started off very light spotting and gradually heavier. Lasted 4 days. Then today had a bit of brownish spotting first thing, and then nothing. Could i be pregnant, been trying for second baby for 4 months.

hi there im new to this but i really need help, im on the pill and decided to carry on without having a week break so i wouldnt get a period, however on the first day of the 7 day break i missed the pill but took it the next day when i remembered and then carried on taking them as normal. But for about 2 weeks now..maybe more iv noticed some brown spotting on some days its been heavy enough that i have to wear a tampon, and recently iv noticed a tiny bit of blood in there too, iv only got 4 days left of my pill pack now before my week break again where i should get my period. is this just a side effect cos i missed one pill?or soemthing else.. can someone plese tell me if im freakin out for no reason or if i should take a test or something?:(

Hey guys! I'm 16 years old. I just had unprotected on a Friday - approx. 2 weeks ago. On Tuesday I went to Planned Parenthood and took the Morning after pill (third time taking it). I'm bleeding a little bit heavy and it started last night. My boyfriend told me that he saw a little bit of that when we were making love last Friday. What do you think it is? Am I pregnant? By the way the first two the condom broke. Most of the time I have protected s_x. I also have cramps.. :(

You should definitely take a test. You may be pregnant but it also may be side effects from taking the MA pill for the third time. It is hard on your body to go through that. I would highly recommend going on birth control to avoid any more mishaps. I went on birth control sophomore year because of my killer cramps and heavy period.

Please help. I ovulated on the 6/3/2009 and had s_x on the day of ovulation. I did receive my expected period on 6/17/2009 It was somewhat lite... (I always spot 1-2 days before my period) my period should have arrived on the 7/15 and I'm NEVER late! ? I felt small somewhat cramps but no period! until the 17th there was a lite lite lite pinkish egg white discharge but again no actual period! ( i took a hpt on 7/17 and it was negative) and today when i wiped i noticed a dark brown blood like a coffee colored brown, there was no odor. I have been using a panty liner because nothing is coming out, only if i wipe i notice the brown stuff...Is it possible that I am pregnant even though I had a period on 6/17/2009/last month?? I read some blogs that women have had normal periods during pregnancy's HELP!!!!!!!

Hi I had my period 2 weeks ago, it was very light but quite normal, then 2 days ago (27th august) i have started getting a very dark brown blood like stain. I don't know if this is 'spotting'? I spoke to my friend who said she has this in the early stages of her pregnancy. I took a test last night and it was negative, I also did one last month as I thought I may have been pregnant then as I had similar symptons, but again was negative. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be?? Is it likely that I could be pregnant??? I've read a few other comments on here and quite a lot have said they had this brown blood, did tests that came back negative but then were actually pregnant??? Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

I'm on the pill but lost two of my active pills two months ago and since then my periods have come early and are brown and I didn't have any period symptoms. I'm suppose to start in a couple of days but i'm having some brown discharge, is this a sign of pregnancy?

This is gonna be a little long, I'm sorry, but here goes. My husband and I have been TTC for a little over a year now. It was getting way too stressful so we decided to cool it until after the first of the year. My cycles are rather regular, but a little long, The day it ends one month is the say it will start the following month give or take a day. I started an rx weight loss pill on Nov. 1st. I've lost 10lbs since then :) I have had no increase in stress,if anything it's gone down lately. I also got an H1N1 vaccine on Oct 30th. A friend of mine pa__sed away the 29th of Oct, and I basically would not let my husband out of the room. The whole life affirming thing ;) Not thinking about it, that is generally around the time I O. Now, I should have started my period on November 11, 12 or 13. On the 13 I got some brown stuff that was only there when I wiped after using the rest room. I figured it was the start of my period. I usually get a warning the day before. Well that's all I've been doing. Brown "Spotting" not enough for a pad or anything, it's only there when I wipe. I do NOT want to get my hopes up again. I hate to go running to my Dr for every little thing. I have not taken a hpt. Has anyone else ever had this happen? If so, what was the out come? Should I worry, is something wrong? I have none of my typical pms symptoms. I'm just confused and don't know what to think. Advise Please. All is welcome!!

ok, I started spotting dark brown about a week before my period. I could only see it when I wiped, then it got a little heavier and I had to wear a pad, but it never filled up the pad. Throughout the week I was supposed to be on my period I spotted brown with a little red mixed into it. Today It got red and it clumped, but not enough to get in the pad I would just get a clump when I wiped. Now it is just pink and very very light. Could I be pregnant? I took a test a day after my period was supposed to start and got a negative. This was no way a normal period, but I don't know if I'm pregnant because I got a few clumps of red blood? Someone please help!!

Hello all. Im new here and guess ill tell my story: i stopped being on birth control this august. started my period on oct 20. no period in november. started to have brown discharge a week ago and still having it. took a hpt four days ago and showed negative. it might be that im pregnant. but i guess ill just wait and see. cus if im pregnant, stress might make me miscarry if i worry too much, if im not pregnant, then its just my period being irregular and my system being weird. however if im really pregnant then my hcg levels will raise sooner or later to show a positive on the next hpt. husband and i are not really forcing things to have a baby, we'd be happy whether or not we have one. everyone just relax! but of course ill let you all know once i find out.

hi myperiod was due 19th dec no period buton 26th i noticed some brown spotting, its light compared to my normal heavy period. for the last few weeks ive felt nausious and have been sick a few times(although ginger biscuits before bed seem to help). ive felt slightly more tired than usual could i be pregnant???? i had an ectopic pregnancy in 2007 and only have one tube now so im not getting excited im more worried please help

Hello kerrykins86 sounds to me that you might be pregnant because you've felt nauseous. Have you taken a pregnancy test though? The last time I had my period was on 20 Oct, approximately two months after I got off from birth control pills. And now no period nothing, the brown discharge has stopped also. Oh by the way, my s_x drive has gone very low lately. This is quite surprising to me as I always felt h__y before.
