Hi all, my last normal period started on the 30th June 2010 and finished the 7th July 2010. I had unprotescted s_x on the 9th of July just 2 days after my bleeding stopped. Ive been told that was one of the best times to fall pregnant. Ive had symptoms like nausea, headaches, heartburn, urinating alot, abdominal cramps, b___sts have been a bit sore, bloated stomach,lower bach aches, ive put on 2 kgs in this tme and i dont usually put it on that quick, dizziness and fatigue. I am now 3 weeks late,i have taken at least 10 at home hcg tests and they all show negative, i went to a after hrs dr on wed he said i had a bladder infection and had to see my dr about why im late. My dr did a urine and blood test and sent them to the lab on friday, i got my tests back today and they are all negative, it even showed that i didnt n dont have a infection. I woke up this mornin and noticed that i had a bit of spotting. it wasnt much just a tiny bit. im unsure on wether its my period coming, if i cud be preg n the tests havnt picked it up or if its somthing else. I still have all the symptoms and it even hurts to put pressure on my tummy. Im going back to the dr on wed and asking for an ultrasound..

I saw this forum because I was having the same problem. I also noticed that a lot of people said "Me too!" but no one really gave an answer. So here's my story, hopefully it will help someone with the same problem :) First date of my last period was 7/18/10. My next period should have been due around 8/20/10, I'm on a 34-36 day cycle. I took an HPT (the digital First Response) on 8/21/10 that came back negative. I waited a week and took another HPT (digital First Response) on 8/28/10 which also came back negative. On 8/29/10 I started having brown discharge which is usually a precursor to my period, but I didn't have the cramps that normally come with it. I kept having this brown discharge (no period, no cramps) for the next few days until I finally decided to buy a different brand of HPT and retest (Walgreens brand) on 9/2/10. This test came back positive which I had confirmed by a blood test the same day!! We've been TTC for 3 years now so this is a blessing for my DH and me I hope the rest of you with the "missed period brown discharge" problem are getting the same good news that I received :D

Hello Lost! I am so so sorry for your loss! I have been following your entries because I have been experiencing brown spotting for about two days now but it's very, very light. I'm not due for my period until Monday 13th which is three days away. My husband and I are trying for baby number two and I know the same thing happened to me with my first preg. so I'm hoping I am. I will keep you in my prayers that you get pregnant soon. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

Hi Amber! Thank you so much for sharing your story - it makes me really positive that i MAY get my BFP this month. My hubbie and I have been TTC for 10+ months and I had brown spotting (minimal) about 12 days ago (which was about 12 days past ovulation) and if I was going to get AF it would have come but it hasn't.... so send me some of your good luck :) PS] Congrats!! You must be so happy :)

Hi all little help please, :) I've missed my period ( well have been spotting for 2 days) and today had a little more than spotting but this isn't normal for me I'm usually same day same time every month for about 6 years I'm on the pill but was on antibiotics when my boyfriend and I had unprotected s_x, it happened 2 days after my last period so (4 weeks ago) which I heard is around the time you ovulate I have taken a pregnancy test which came up negative does any body no if this sounds like pregnancy I'd be really happy if I am and am going to go to the doctors in 4 days just to see if I get a proper period would appreciate any advice thank u in advance.

hi, so i having similar symptoms. i got my "period" thursday and by saturday it was completely done. and usually i have a heavy flow and it lasts from 5-8 days however this time i was very light (barely 1/2 of a reg. tampon) and it was red-ish the first day, then brown for the last 1.5-2 days. ive never had a period like this b4 and im kind of worried. Im not trying to get pregnant (im on the BC pill). i may have missed at least 1 pill last month and had s_x regularly, so idk whats going on. (I have been on BC pills for about 5 years, a few different kinds, and ive never had my period be so light/short so i dont think its from my pills). also, i took a hpt today (not in the morning tho) and it was neg. so now im confused as to if i should start my new pill pack (which im supposed to start today) or wait a week, take another hpt and see what happens. help please. o and i dont have anyother symptoms of preg except ive had a headache for about a week straight and my b___st seem to be larger, but not sore, so im not sure if those are actual signs, or if im over thinking everything. thanks for any advice.

I'm 39 years old and was due for my period last Saturday. The day after I was due I had some brown spotting, but it was light. I cried since my husband and I were trying to conceive. I had taken the 6 day early preg. test--once 6 days prior to saturday and once 5 dys early and they both said negative. My spotting continued for 3 days...took a test ast night and it was POSITIVE!

helo everyone and congrats to all with positive results.i just wanted to say that that iam now 17 or 18 days late or my period which was pose to start on october 13th 2010. riht before my last period started i had some brown spotting then a light period for only 3 days in which my normal is 5.. i have been sleeping all the time now i can almost put my bathroom time on a schedule now. well yesterday i have noticed some brown spotting , nothing heavy just went i wipe after using the restroom..i took a hpt 5 days after i first missed my period it was (-) i also went and had the blood est done on the next day which was also (-) i was told to come back in a week which those test results were the same...im going to retest tommorrow morning and tonight to find out whats going on...do you think theres a chance that i coud be prego?? or is there something else going on??? would love a lil help to lighten my thoughts on this ..thanks to all who reply

Hey Candycane. If you are trying like I am to concive a baby might be psychological.... Does the response I got from a nurse today. I will tell you my story. I been trying for few months now and although many people will tell you that in order to get pregnant you need to be relax and that most women get pregnant while on holidays found it not really encouraging since we have a constant reminder each month that we fell again!!!! And start all over again next month. I was supposed to get my period on the 30th with on the 29th I got the famous brown spotting I usually have it the night before my period start (medium flow) but not this month by sat was gone I have terrible lower cramps and my b___st are very tender. Today I went to have a blood test schedule by my OB to measure hormone levels I am supposed to have another one in 17 days and next week gonna have a hysteroscopy and I am really scare douse I think that I am finally pregnant and with that will loose it. I spoke to the nurse about my worries and she said that probably my period was like that this month and that I shouldn't stress cause all is in my head..... very encouraging, in any case I will see the OB on Thursday, will let you know what happens, oh btw I did a pregnancy test this morning and was -ve guess that's the reason why the nurse told me that the symtoms I have are all in my head. Hello everyone!! I'm new to posting on here, but have been getting freaked out by a few thing's... Me and my fiancée have been trying for a baby for 6 month's now, and i think i have had a miscarriage a few month's ago as i usually only bled for 3 day's and this time was 9 day's and extremely heavy... Anyway today i am due on, i have been having pregnancy symptom's such as tiredness and sore b___st's, and i also done an early pregnancy test the other day and got an extremley faint line in the test window, did 3 tests after all was negative, then today my period due day based on a 28 day cycle (although my periods range from 23-35 days since coming off the pill 6 month's ago) i started getting some brown spotting like 5 hours ago, maybe the size of a 10 pence piece and some mild cramping... Do you think i could be pregnant??

hello everyone im yet back again with some news.. i had another blood test done on monday and the results were (-) again. Myb___st are sore as ever, i start eating but then dont want what i started eating, i pee more often , i cant sleep at night cuz i cant get comfortable. i was told to see my obgyn on the 16th of this month i have no clue whats going on, i still havent came on my period and the spotting is back again i have some cramping...i dnt knw what to think right now...im just all confused at this point anyone with some pointers as to what could be wrong????? plz i need aswers i have been on every site possible to find out whats wrong..i have googled just about everything and it always say yes your preggo, i feel like it becuz my b___bs have never been this sore. i am wasting pads becuz im scared that if i dt wear one i just might get my period...ugh so fustrated right now

Hi i am back again! I am still spotting and my b___st's are also killing me, i have a little boy and only ever experienced sore b___sts when i was pregnant, until now :( done a test today and it's negative... Starting to get annoyed now, as i feel pregnant so much and never seem to be getting pregnant despite lot's of practice, Candy i know exactly how you are feeling right no, please keep us up to date!! So I went to visit my bf at the begining of november I had gotten my period the month before oddly enough for the past maybe 3 months I would get it at the end of the month going in to the next month well I didn't get it at the end this time while I was visiting my bf after about a week I started spotting that was like on the 7th of november the spotting was brown and its now the 19th n still spotting does anyone know if this could be I'm pregnant? I'm nervouse cuz i really wanna be pregnant ....please let me know anyone
