i was on the depo for 4years after having my son came off it last september and started my periods again 25th dec! theyv'e been 25th of every month since, hope this helps

hi, im 24 and got a depo provera shot one time around. i didnt go back after the three months were up due to the fact that i didnt like the way my period was all wacked! when i stopped about a month later my period stopped. its been about three months and nothing. another thing i noticed that my hair is falling out lots. its thinner than ever and hasnt gotten better, even after the shot. im miserable.

I was on Depo for 5 years ....went off Depo 1 yr later, we had our daughter and I went right back on Depo for the past 3 years, then 2 years ago went off to try for a second child....we are now 5 weeks preggers! After this baby is born, I will gladly go back on Depo if my Doc says its ok...For me, I had no problems with it and enjoyed no PMS

i was on the depo jab for quite a few years i stopped it and after 3 months i fell pregnant be patient and be sure you will fall pregnant best wishes

I was on the depo for 3 yrs.Stopped in December, than I used the pills for Jan. Feb & March, I didn't take them this April. & i've had 3 positive hpt's.

I STOPPED INJECTING DEPO IN APRIL AND TIL NOW I HAVE NOT GOT A PERIOD, ABOUT HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO STOP WORKING?

girls if you are trying to get pregnant aftter taking the shot you have to wait because it takes up to a year to get back on track.and i have ued he sot before after i had my baby and it was the 3 mont depo and my period cae correctly between the year but everybody's body is different

Yes u can get pregnant right after u get of the shot my cousin did in fact get pregnant aftar a week. dont believe everything the docs. says, cause its not true and the cervical cancer they say u cant but ladies you can get cervical cancer and b___st cancer. i was on it and my body is going thur alot of changes i feel like i pregnant but i dont think i am.

ldpi 6/04 You can get preg. after depo but it will take some time. I am on my 3dr round of clomid and still waiting.

last depo shot in september -- tookpreg test was neg -- felling nauseas and tired , soreness and everything really stinks - literally - dr says can take 9 months to start period again -- should i keep testing ? or is it all the c___p trying to get out of my system ??

depends on how long you was on DEPO, it could take up to a year or longer to leave you system completley

Hi,my last shot was in Sept 04.I was supposed to go back in Nov 04 to get another but didn't,I got my period around the time I was supposed to get my shot.Didn't get a period in Dec 04,got some spotting of what have could of been a period in Jan 05 but it was dark in color.Didn't see anouther period until yesterday July 6 and it's not red,it's brown in color.I really wish that my real period would come cause this is freaking me out and I want to have another baby maybe next year or the year after.I will never do Depo again!!!

LAST MONTH I HAD MY SECOND JAB AND MY PARTNER PROMISED ME AS SOON AS WE HAVE A MORTGAGE WE CAN START TRYING FOR A FAMILY. LUCKLY WE ARE NOW ON THE HOUSE MARKET AND WE WANT TO START TRYING. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? I HAVE HEARD SO MANT HORROR STORIES ABOUT DEPOPROVERA AND WORRIED THERE COULD BE SOME LONG TERM PROBLEMS. AS I HAVE ONLY HAD THE JAB TWICE WILL I STILL HAVE TO WAIT AS LONG FOR MY NEXT PERIOD? AND ONCE MY PERIODS HAVE RETURNED WILL IT BE SAFE TO START TRYING?

hi was on depo for 6months came off it 1 year ago periods returned after 6 months but no ovulation at all not been able to become pregnant

have you looked at the risks of being on depo and falling pregnant have you heard the birth defects your baby can have its bloody scary

more than likely the pregnancy tests are accurate. I was on the depo for six years, got off. It took 8 months before I had a period and now I have one every other week for 7days. I have been trying to get pregnet now for 15 months. Good luck for you and me.
