11 days late, test at the Doc's says positive. He says the test isn't 100% so is there a chance I'm not pregnant?

You are pregnant and do not listen to your doctor. He sounds like a fruit. What doc would tell a woman a positive test is not positive? Jeez. Who can we rely on?

Home pregnancy tests are more reliable than tests done at the dr's. NHS tests are free so we should all know they are unreliable whereas home tests are expensive so more reliable + trust your instincts.....

Helen, that is simply not true. A Serum HcG test (quant_tative) at a docs office is more reliable than a HPT.

Many tests, when taken early during the cycle, can produce a very faint positive line. As long as the faint line is the appropriate color, i.e., pink, blue and not a gray or "clear" line, then it is safe to a__sume that it is indeed a positive. You may want to retest again, to see if the same line is obtained again. A copy and pasted answer from another web site...www.pregnant.lifetips.com
