Faint Line Going Sideways Instead Of Up Amp Down

i took a test and a faint line going sideways showed up instead of any going up and down.the solid line is there in the other window that shows the test was taken. do you think i should retest or its positive?

Actually it says if it is horizontal then it is a defective test....Anna...have u tested agin since? I took an Equate and has same thing. See post: "Equate"
