Late But Still Testing Negative

My husband and I have been TTC for three months. I am now about two days late for my period, however, I am still testing negative. Can I still be pregnant? I am never late. Could this be too soon to test?

HPT are notorious for giving false negatives due to low HcG levels. I would call the doc for a blood test as it is the most sensitive. HcG should double every 48 hrs so you may want to test every two days until you know otherwise. Good luck.
