Neg Result But 8 Minutes Later Postive Result Shows

I just resently took a test and the result was negative but when I looked at it after 7 or 8 minutes it showed a positive result. Which is correct and should I take a nother? I am 2 days late and I have symptoms of pregnacy.

The test usually tells you to discard the results (whether positive or negative) after a certain amount of time has pa__sed. I would check the instructions and see what they say... and to be absolutely sure - take another test. Good luck!
