I am 8 days late for AF...I am never late...the only time I was late was 7mo ago and I was preg, but had an early miscarriage...I then took a HPT and was positive, but i have heard that sometimes in a normal pregnancy the hCG won't show up right away, esp in urine...I have had periodlike cramping for a week, and gas issues. I want to be preg, but dont think this is in my head, I just wanna know either way...being late is driving me nuts, esp since I feel preg and had neg tests...someone please help! Is there anyone who tested neg with HPT but was pos later? I suspect I am 5wk and thought I wuld have known by now if preg or not thru HPT. HELP!!

i had the same thing 2 weeks and than i got let down but my husband thinks my body was trying to work on a pregnancy.that gives me hope.

I was 2 weeks late before testing faintly positive on hpt. A blood test at 1 week late was negative. I am now approaching 12 weeks pregnant-gestational age. I am 14 weeks since lmp. The two week lateness is at least consistent with the gestational age. Otherwise I am mystified by the test results.

Same with me I'm just now late but could have sworn that I was pregnant for the past week and a half. I have all the symptoms and I know what they are 'cause I've been pregnant before but these stupid hcg tests are neg and it's driving me mad! We havn't been trying either so it's not as if I've been looking hard for these symptoms.
