you should just tell your doctor to give you a blood test. they don't always know from what i hear. you sound pregnant big time. are you stressed out at all???

Hello Everyone!! I enjoy reading about other ppl in the same boat it makes you feel not so alone. Well heres my story. My period is pretty regular and on time, I was supposed to start on the 13th and I have yet to start. I have taken hpt and neg I also had a blood test done and it was neg...could it be I'm to early to have a positive? I know some women can detect early and others late. I dont want to get my hopes up. My husband thinks its him that cant get me 'knocked up ' because im 24 and he is 38 but I dont see a problem with it....he is very healthy could I be and just 2 soon to tell? I have symptoms: urinating constently, swollen b___st, defined blue veins in my b___st and very irratiable.

hi, im AK25. I would like to know if its possible to be pregnant even while having my period? I have most the symptoms of being preg. I did a home test this morning and it was neg.

ok so i havent missed my period yet its due in 2 days but i took 2 hpt and a blood test at the docs and they were neg. the only reason i did this so soon was cause i feel preg i have the sorest b___bs in the world and last weekend i has cramping with no blood no spotting i think im losing my mind! any suggestions?

hey bubba i think if the test say negative, then your not prego. i went through this a billion times before my period and wayyy after. they have always been correct. even the cheapest in the world. and ak25 no you can't get prego on your period. you egg is being disposed of. the reason you get pregnancy symtoms is cause your hormones are similiar tp what your going to feel when you are pregnant. i though i was gonna start my period anyday in june, it just felt like a period. but they were prego symptoms. and stimpy your probably not prego either. my b___bs got sore right before my period with blue veins to. but went back to normal. those blood test are sooo accurate. not saying its impossible but unlikely that you are. i hope you guys all find out soon. let me know!

I see all of your answers and feel like I need to ask my question too. I have extremely irregular periods, to the point where I don't remember when my last one is or when the next one begins. But then I started getting symptoms. My husband and I have only had intercourse once in the past month (or since the last time I had AF) due to the living situation (mother in law). A week after that one time, I had spotting. Just once, felt like I was getting my period, wiped, saw blood, went home, there was nothing, and has been nothing. I feel crampy occasionally, my b___bs have been tender, I feel dizzy very occasionally (like once or twice), I'm tired all the time, and hungry all the time. But I have taken a hpt and had a blood test done. hpt was done four days after the spotting, and the blood test was done four days after that, with the results just coming back today, and lo and behold! Negative. Now I have my husband doubting my feelings (that I really feel pregnant), saying we have more important things to worry about. I feel like I am going crazy and I don't know what to do. I have had one child before, but with someone else. Anyone can help?

My story is similar. I am 36 with regular cycles for the past year (26-28 days long).As my period was late and I was having some of the symptoms described in early pregnancy,I had an urine-based test but was negative 8(.My period came last night on the 31st day but the flow is unusually small. It looks like menstruation but only on the 2nd or 3rd day.It’s not pinkish or brownish as implantation bleeding.Is there any chance I could be also pregnant?

I am concerned as well...I have 2 children, my first i had 5 neg urine tests, then had blood test, u/s 2 days later i was already 9.5weeks prego, and didn't know it....i am late for period...sore b___sts, nauseous, moody, frequent urination, but 3 neg urine tests...only 2 days late for period...we had s_x x2 during most fertile time...but neg test....increase in cervical d/c....tired more so than usual....so confused??? any help would be greatly appreciated! O I should mention we don't use b/c....EVER!!!

hello seriously confused bee2 and nursie. i have felt symptoms before and been through that before i actually was prego. from my experience those test are always right. unless someone heard a heartbeat at an appointment. if you stop thinking about it all the sudden you period will usually start.

hi everyone. i really need some good advice. i was suppose to start me period on oct 28. i still havent started, so ive taken two urine tests at home and today i got a blood test. all three of them came back negative. i still havent had a period. i am always tired and sleepings. i feel like throwing up late at night, and i have pains in my lower back. is there anyway i am pregnant with all three of my neg test. and how can i find out 100 percent if i am?????

Thanks to everyone who has answered this post, and I am so glad that I came across it. I've been battling whether I'm pregnant or not for a week now. I've had 3 negative urine test (which at first I thought I did wrong, which is not totally out of the question). My last period was on October 28th, and was due again for my period on Nov 25th (approx. a 28 day cycle that can vary by a day or two either way). The confusion: I was due to start my pill on Nov 2nd, however the doctor forgot to send in the refill. Work is crazy busy so I forgot to follow up to see if it was sent in. The next day she still hadn’t and I was scheduled for a day-op the next day. So I actually didn’t go get my pill until Nov 10th since I was on pain meds and was confined to the house. So then I got the bright idea to delay taking it until I had my normal period again (since I’ve been like clockwork since day 1 of having my period). So I waited, and on the Friday, Nov 21st, before I was scheduled to start (on Nov 25th) I got cramps, all the symptoms of my period. So I thought I was getting it. But didn’t, so figured it was pre-pain. I waited until my normal start date. Nothing still but still uncomfortable pain in my lower abdomen, tired, sore b___sts, etc. I am now officially 1 week late. The suspense is killing me. We hadn’t planned on it happening now (but will be excited all the same). Like I said, I’ve had 3 negative test and still no sign of it. I’m going to my doctor tonight and appreciate all the comments here so that I can be better prepared not to be brushed off. I, like most women, know my body and know something is not right, whether it be pregnant or another (serious) issue. If I am I figure I would be 2 ½ weeks, give or take a few days, and it lines up with all that I’ve read. Thanks everyone!! I will post yet or nah once I know.

Wow I have no idea what to think now!! I am so glad I found this and that there are recent posts, I sitting here ready to cry cause I do not know what to do or think. I need advice and have no one to talk to or turn to. I have had 3 kids so I am pretty sure I know what it feels like to be pregnant, I do have an IUD, but from what I have been reading many people have gotten pregnant on it, especialy since my fiance and I have s_x almost 2 x's a day. About 4 wks ago I spotted for one day (only when I wiped) a week went by and I spotted for one day again, well right around that time I started feeling nausiated and my b___bs were killin me, which was not normal. I have had the IUD for almost 4 yrs and only had this happen once before but it didnt even last a wk. Anyway I have been having every symptom in the book for over 3 wks straight, my b___bs hurt all day and all night, I am emotional, nausiated, tired, gas bloated, ect.... I took 2 HPT's and they were negative, so I figured that maybe I was just imagining things and making myself feel this way, well I figured ok I'm not gonna think about it cause I have 2 negative tests, but the symptoms still continued, yesterday I went to my dr and she had me go take a blood test, they called an hr ago and saiud it was negative, and to see how I felt in another week. I DONT GET IT!!! So once again I thought maybe I am bringing the symptoms on myself but after that phone call knowing it was negative I am feeling no different, my b___bs are KILLING me and are swollen, and burning, what the hell could this be and what Is going on with me?? I could almost swear I am pregnant, but proof (tests) are saying im not. Please help me!!!!

Hey! guys your stories are really good to hear... about 12 weeks ago I stopped my pill, 3 weeks ago I had a slight bleed for no more than 2 days which in my mind wasn't a normal period... for the past week my b___st have become rather swollen and very tender....also my stomach is bloated...back ache...feeling sick and dizzy with a metalic taste in my mouth. However 2days ago I did a urine test and was negative...Oh I forgot to mention I have polycystic ovaries...can anyone help?

I am having a really hard time. Its good to hear everyones stories. I to am late on my period. I take seasonale (3 mos birth control) and I messed up taking it Nov. 22nd and I had s_x that day...took a pill late the 23rd and then stopped taking my pills. Well about a week after that my period hadn't started....it usually takes a couple of days to start but never a week. So I took a preg test - neg. I started feeling nauseous, sensitive b___sts, raw/chapped/somewhat enlarged nipples, urinating frequently...basically prego symptoms! So couple days later I took another - neg. Well, to make a long story short I continued having the symptoms and taking about four prego tests and they all where neg. Figured I just wasn't far enough along yet so I went to the doc he drew blood - neg. I still feel prego though and my period still hasn't started - not even a spot! He thinks there is no way I could be prego but he wants me to wait 2 wks and then call him if I still don't have my period. He says its a slim possibility that I have a false neg. but reading all your blogs it doesn't seem so slim. I guess I will continue to act prego until I feel that he is right....or I don't show in a couple of months. I guess if I don't have a period he will do an ultrasound and blood test again. I'm kind of worried and kind of obsessing over it. I want to know whats going on!

Hey all I swear it is a miracle that I found this site... I am so confused... I should be about 2 weeks pregnant and have taken 2 HPT and one blood test but all negative... Me and my fiance have been trying for a while now and seem to never have any luck so we were beginning to wonder if I can even get pregnant.... For it isnt him cuz he already has a kid... But anywho I started cramping and shrugged it off thinking it is just a sign I am gettin ready to start my period for I didnt know it is a sign of pregnancy... Then like a day or 3 ago my b___sts more so my nipples have beocome really sort to the touch and seem to be gettin worse... But I have taken 2 HPT this week and was negative and took a blood test today and I was shocked when it came back negative... My dr just said that I could just be wishful thinking which causes the signs to happen, but I was thinkin to my self I know my body this is no wishful thinkin or atleast I hope not... But I also seem to be going to the bathroom more and have headaches and am more moody and emotional then usual even for when I am on my period... But yea I am in major need of advice and support so please help me I would be so greatful... Thank you for all the posts they are also a huge help...

I really hope that somebody can answer my question or just give me support cuz this is really hard to deal with this i feel like I am all alone... And I am just hoping that there could be some hope that I am pregnant... So i hope that somebody responds to me soon thank you :)
