In the same boat. Well I cannot lay on left side because it hurts if feels like something sharp is poking me. Just like Heathe my stomach is bulged on one side(my left) and sometimes I feel pain. My b___sts of larger with blue veins and l can squeezed colostrum. Feeling movement all over my stomach. Poking, kicking and etc. Strange thing is that when I try to sleep in a fetal position(which I love to do) I feel something heaviness in the v____a area. I have to stretch my legs out and roll on my back.

Ladies, I am 36 years old, and already have tow daughters, ages 11 and 8. My husband had a vasectomy eight years ago, and I have lost one tube due to surgery 14 years ago. Needless to say, we were not planning on having more children. But we always said that if we were to somehow bypa__s all of the odds and get pregnant, then the Good Lord must have meant it to be and we would be happy. Well, my last period was Feb.28th. By all counts, I should have started my second period yesterday or today. So I have missed one and am late for number two. I have been taking tests like crazy, just wanting to know. Since I wasn't 100% sure about my last period, I have been testing for awhile. But they all seem to be negative. One of them looked like there was a very faint up and down line to make a positive sign. I have flutters in my tummy (nerves possibly?), and my dog made me nauseous after she came into a closed room with me while wet. Never had the nauseous feeling from a wet dog before. The only other times I have been late with my period were when I was pregnant. I had an appointment scheduled for today, but the doctor had to cancel it. Will see his a__sistant tomorrow. I see that a lot of women get false negatives, and don't make much of the hormone until later. I am wondering of those who tested negative, and thought for sure that they were pregnant, actually turned out to be pregnant. some of them we never hear from again. I would like to know what other things could be causing these symtoms. One person wrote about PCOS, and that could be an issue. But what else?

Doctors keep saying movement is muscle spasms because of my negative tests. I have not had a blood test because of the negative urine tests. They say my stomach is big because I am just fat and the hardness in my stomach is because of umblibical hernia. Doctors are no help.

Well ladies, I am not pregnant. Somehow I totally missed one period, and this one came four days late. But it came. Good luck to you all!

Karina, I feel them most of the time on my left side, and sometimes it will bunch up to 1 side, and I look deformed, but right near my belly b___ton and my ribs now.

Hi Heathe(r) how are you? You and I and Aida are in the same boat together. Funny my kicks are usually on the right side, right around my waist and then sometimes on the left side lower down. Because the movements were so high I was very worried that maybe it's an abdominal pregnancy, but now I feel them lower down too so I'm happy about that. I finally got my ob/gyn to see me, May. 31. I'm glad actually because he's my regular gyno and he knows he can't just tell me something to get rid of me. He'll have to prove to me that it's something else (I wish could!). Plus it'll be far enough along (5months) that the ultrasound will for sure determine if there's a baby in there. Do you have a doctor? Are you taking your prenatal vitamins? I felt so strongly since middle of Feb that this was a baby I went out and bought them and have been taking them since. Where are you located Heather? Can you pay for an ultrasound?

Shirl Girl...any updates?

Aida - April 27

Hi Karina, No more news at the moment, only I feel really nauseous, which is quite normal for me as it is late afternoon, evening sickness I have always suffered from...Besides, I have tried to make another appointment with the GP, but today they had an afternoon off, so wil try again tomorrow. Besides in my case I have already had 2 ultrasounds, one I paid and the other sent by the GP and both did not show anything. Although, it is possible it was too early as I only was 5 weeks and they recommend to have it around minimum 6-8 weeks. What concerns me is that I also had the blood test and the results came back negative. The GP is going to think I am out of my mind. Should it be necessary and don't get anywhere with the GP, I will treat myself to another scan.

Karina, well I was a little worried myself about an abominal pregnacy, because I started feeling movement very early, I live in Vermont, and I do have a doctor, but he thinks it is estrogen, but all me tests came back normal, and why would it cause movement in there, and dry colstrum on my nipples at night. He wont give me an ultrasound right now he says there is no way that I am pregnant, because my urine tests are Neg, but at 5 1/2 Months would you get a + anyway, so I will wait till my stomach is real big, as I am not very big at all, well my b___bs are, but if you didn't know me, you wouldn't think i was Pregnant, but I am real thin, like a rail, and yes I am taking Vitamins too. Aida how are you how far along do you think you are, all of us are in the same boat, please keep me posted on how you are both doing.

the same with me Heathe people were I work and who know me ask is I am pregnant and tell them no. So if I am crazy then they are too. Anyway I can see my stomach moving.

Heathe, Aida, Anon, well at least we beleive each other...time will tell I guess. Anyone have back pains and shortness of breath? Shortness of breath started 2 weeks ago, so I'm guessing that puts me at 15 weeks, back pain started this week..always had that with the other pregnancies and lucky me I had mega back labour with both...

karina - April 27

Heathe...I'm getting the colostrum thing too...I didn't know what it was at first...

Aida - April 27

Hi Heathe, I am not entirely sure how long I feel I am pregnant. From what I can remember, my last period was on 20th February 2006 (although as I said before I cannot be entirely certain it was a normal period as my youngest son was having his operation that week so my mind was focussing on something else. What I am certain about is that my b___sts started to get really painful just before I was due on 18th March 2006, got there late and and very strange sensations as if I knew I was pregnant even before I was due a period. That strange period lasted 3 days and was very light. This month, period started on 14th April and finished on the same day. So, all in all, I could be now between 10 and 14 weeks pregnant. I feel very nauseous at the moment (always been a evening sickness rather than the morning one).

Heathe - April 28

Aida, I also had evening sickness, and I still get a period 1 day every month, very light, don't even need a pad, Karina, have you noticed white crystals on your nipples, and my left b___st leaked the other day on my shirt. I have only gained 5 pounds, my belly just looks like i ate too much all the time, but my b___sts are so much bigger, I look all out of perportion. So ladies let me know what happens with you both, and I will keep you informed.

karina - April 28

Hi girls....how are you? Took some pictures a month ago of my belly and then some today and compared them, the belly is much rounder and higher up. I figure if I keep taking pictures every month I can compare and see how it grows. Some days I don't feel pregnant. Weird things happening like hemorroids (sorry TMI!) and back/leg aches. You've only gained 5 lbs Heathe? That's good I guess, if you're thin maybe you should increase your calorie intake now that you're in your 2nd trimester (even though it's hard to do because you haven't really gotten a confirmation), but you're pretty certain you're pregnant so it might be a good thing to do. For me, I've gained about 8 lbs, and I'm pretty sure I'm close to 16weeks, if not more. Crystals? Not sure, but I do have little white marks all over them, like little white heads almost. What was really weird, about 6 weeks ago a friend of mine's newborn was crying hysterically and wouldn't stop and my b___st started burning, almost like the "let down" feeling you get when b___stfeeding. Bizarre!

karina - April 28

Heathe...how old is your child? How about you Aida? Two kids? How old? How do your DH's feel about all of this?
