Hi kerrilynn i had the same problem i was obsessed with those pregnancy tests, now i am a week late and i am too afraid to take another test so that it might show up negative. I Suggest you wait a week before taking another test. But in the mean time take care of your body.

hey girlies just wanna say i experienced same problem i was week late in oct n took a test said neg so i took another 5 in a space of another 5 days! all negative after 10 days late i came on the period. in nov i was once again ten days late n had bad tummy period pains so i took a test n it was positive! im now 11 weeks pregnant so my advice is to take ur mind of it like i did n dreams will come true! good luck n baby dust to all xxx

just over a week late, i had the courage to take another test today and still i am negative. I think the stress has this affect on me, i will try to cool down, forget about it and let things go. Good luck to all.

i was on the pill just before christmas then i stopped taking them and this weekend me and my boyfriend had s_x 3 times and i was due on my period on monday but i haven't come on , i did and pregnancy test today but it was negative

Kelly, due to those specific dates you mentioned, having s_x over the weekend, did you mean you were expecting your period the following Monday? It is unlikely that you are pregnant, but that is only for those dates... have you and your boyfriend had s_x a week to 2 weeks ago? That would approximately be the time that you would have been ovulating... however, because you just went off the pill, your system could be a bit messed up right now, it usually takes a month - 3 months for your system to get back to normal and begin ovulating again, some women its even longer. I'm not saying its impossible for you to be pregnant... believe nothing is impossible, but perhaps give it another week or so,and if your period still doesn't come, either take another test or go to your doctor and have him/her give you a pregnancy blood test that will give you the best and most accurate results. just wanted to let all of you know i have been off of b/c for 5 months i thought every month i would get preg. but no luck so i decided to just not worry about it at all if though that is very very hard - and now i am 5 weeks and 3 days preg. i have went to the health dept. to confirm but have a dr appt with my gynob next week so now i am just hoping everything is ok i have heard you can easily have a m/c up til 8 or even 12 weeks - this will be the first for my husband and i both so i just wanted to wish good luck to all of you and please think of me while i wait to go to the dr's i will be thinking of all of you as well - let me know if anyone has any advise thanks

Wendy: congratulations!!!!! i hope that everything works out for you. you and your husband must be so excited. GOOD LUCK.i'm starting to think the same way as you just not to think about it and just see what happens but it is very difficult becuase i have been doing ovulation tests because my cycles have been so irregular that i wasn't sure when i was ovulating, i might still do them but i've decided i'm not going to tell him when they are positive so he doesn't feel under pressure. I have been off B/C for almost 7 months and no luck and last month i got really upset when i got a period because i really thought it would happen by now. I'm should ovulate today according to the test so hopefully it will happen ths time but i have got to the stage where i feel like it's never going to happen. Good luck to everyone.

kristy it will happen just don't think about it i did keep up with my period and keep track of when was the best day i my husband and i well the only way i can say it is we did it everyday for a week with my most fertil day in the middle but i kept up with it on line with the sites i went to i never bought any home test - i was starting to get scared b/c i read morning sickness was a sign of healthy pregnancy i have felt fine until this morning i feel i will have to run to the bathroom any min. now so i am still hoping everything works out like i said my first dr appt is 1 week from today so i pray every night that it's ok and i will keep you and everyone else trying to get preg. in my thoughts also thanks for the good luck and same to you

I'm too in the same boat.. 3 days late and tested negative...feel very tired..and I fell I'm pregnant.....Planing to take a test tomorrow and check up with doc' next week...Good Luck to all.!

Wendy: Well that's good then that you are feeling sick. I hope all goes wll at the doctors. Let me know how you go. How many weeks do you reckon you are?Well i decided a few days agothat we wont worry about it to much, i keep a record of my fertile days etc but i have decided to be like you and just not try so hard, it's just hard sometimes because it's been nearly 8 months now and i scared that we cant have children. Well according to ovulation test from yesterday and the pains i'm having i'm ovulating or have ovulated today so hopefully i might get pregnant this time. Talk to you soon.

kristy i am about 6 weeks or maybe 6 weeks and a few days - morning sickness was worse today than yesterday but hopefully that will all be over - and i also wanted to tell you i had a friend who had one child and then tried to have another about 1 year later- it took her and her husband 3 years to have another also i look up a web site about the % of couple who concieve the majority took 1 full year and even then some took longer so don't get your self all worked up yet - also knew a girl in your shoes who had been trying for 2 years only for the doctor to finally find out she had a minor health problem that was and did get treated and now she is preg. and should deliver a healthy in a month or two so just don't worry until you have something to worry about- i am not a person who goes to church at all or prays every night but i do believe in god and i know he has a blue print for everyone life maybe your child will be here in 2 months or another year but it will happen - and stress has a lot to do with it so maybe you and your husband or bf can go on a little vacation or something to calm you both that may be just what you need talk to you soon good luck

Wendy: Thats great news. You are so lucky! I know what your saying about your friends i know people that it has taken them ages too but honestly i'm not stressed about it but i cant wait untill it doe's happen, but if it took us over a year then i will start worrying, i just think it will be hard waiting any longer than a year and it will make me worry that we cant have children. We did go on a vacation in November start of December to Phuket in Thailand for our delayed honeymoon which we had a great relaxing time. I thought that would have helped to. Well i ovulated last week and my husband and i have had intercoarse over that time for 7 days in a row so who knows i might get pregnant this time. i'll let you know how i go hopefully next time you here from me i will have good news. That website you were talking about with the % of couples who concieve what is the website i would like to have a look at it if you dont mind sending it to me. Talk soon.

Hi , I`m 15 days late and made 2 Tests, both Negative! I did have a feeling before i made my first test that i might be pregnant, but after it showed up negativ i kind of trusted the result and relaxed for a few days more, thinking i wasn`t pregnant anyway. Now..2 tests later I don`t know whats going on! I am tired a lot and my b___st hurt. I really have no idea whats going on! How long does it usually take till you have the HCG in your blood?

my periods r regular. i never miss one except when i was pregnant. my period was over 2 weeks late. i thought i was pregnant as i'm always on time. i took at least 7 pregnancy tests and all came back negative except 1 which was a very very faint positive. i went to the doctor yesterday to get checked out and they sent a urine sample off to the lab to get checked. today i started my period. so i should say maybe your late maybe a faint line apeared on a pregnancy test it doesnt mean u r pregnant. just because your periods r always on time, sometimes they get messed up for other reasons. good luck everyone

ok now i am confused. i thought i started my period yesterday. i went to the toilet to change after a couple of hours and there wasnt anything there. i havent started since. now i dont know whats going on. i am having bad pains in my back and abdomin. i did have to scrub my kids bedroom wall which started in the first place.
